Just a warning to all my fellow board members who dont want to be spoiled: resist all temptation to read the three early reviews for AOE on Rotten Tomatoes. I read all three, and they give no spoiler warning but are FILLED with them.

    All you need to know:
-All three are positive\"Fresh" rated (Didn't finish reading any of them so not sure how many stars.)
-The goofy\sexist\racidt humor is basically gone.
-The plot is all over the place (which we kinda already knew)
-The cinematography is more spectacular than the last three.
-Mark Walberg kills his role. (DUH.)
-And of course.... its basically the same as the first three in terms of action

and also.... please if you DO read them, dont spoil it for the rest of us PLEASE.

Thank you!! I'm so happy the sex jokes and goofy junk are all gone!! XD I skimmed all the (unnecessarily pretentious) reviews but really couldn't gather much except for talk of great robot character development!

If all that is true, that's excellent news. I'm staying away from most reviews anyway, since I'd rather see the film myself first.

Not really a good summary. Certainly at least one of them said the complete opposite about Marky Mark, I.e. that gee doesn't have much material to work with and is reduced to a muddled cliche.

Thats so rude. :(  There are lots of people who want to be spoiled and are asking a lot of questions to those who have already seen it. Just avoid those threads if you dont want to be spoiled. They arent trying to ruin the movie for you. Its your own fault if you have it spoiled.

No, there was a dude on here earlier putting really important spoilers in his thread titles. I think that's who he's talking about

Well somewhat. I was just saying in general people don't think twice about posting spoilers.

Actually all three (Im pretty sure) said Marky Mark was a better leading man for these movies than Shia.

No problem dude and to the rest of yall. I just wanted to give you guys a heads up!

The people who keep posting spoilers here should steer away from TFW2005 until it's out, then they can post the spoilers. That's just my opinion, and glad to hear the humor that was in the second movie is gone! :D  this is gonna be a wonderful ride >:3

Pretty sure you have a warped opinion on the reviews...
    - The reviews stem from bad to reasonable
    - The goofy/sexist/racist humour is spread out but its still their
    - While Mark Wahlberg's role is good the dialogue was described as weak
    - The cinematography was described as the same as the prior films
    - The film apparently is rather dull and spends the first 40 minutes dawdling around with the human cast before Optimus appears.

In terms of the humor, the review by Varitey says "Thankfully, Bay and Kruger excised much of the racist stereotyping that proliferated the earlier films." I may just have interpreted that as "It's gone" but it kinda sounds like it's gone.

And when I said the reviews were positive, I didn't mean that meant the reviewer liked the film. I just meant that the reviews weren't as bad as ROTF or even some of them for DOTM, and so far the good reviews on Rotten Tomatoes outweigh the negative 3 to 1.

1)Eh, I'd say mixed in general. They all have good things to say about it nonetheless.
    2)That's not what I read
    3) Same as #2
