Liege Maximo is leading the Quintessons that then employ Lockdown lol. This is what Bay is talking about when he says the ship opens up the Movieverse (if he plays it right).

 

So i just read a review that says Ratchet and Leadfoot are both killed at the ship docks but the same review said when OP calls for all autobots that Ratchet is one that answers his call. Im confused lol

 

I know that. I do not blame Bay for what happened to Mirage at all. Character-wise, is would have been better though.

I don't. at the end of the day they want to push new toys. each film will be out with the old in with the new as much as they can get away with.

 

Dino/mirage was killed by Starscream in the novelization. Also, I really hope we get off earth soon in this franchise. Just being a select few humans in space and make it mostly robots. God forbid you have more character buildng to do...

 

Mirage/Dino had two different deaths depending on if you read the novelization or the movie adaptation.

Movie adaptation he was killed by Soundwave who ripped his head off when the autobot's were prisoners.

In the novelization Starscream kills him after he rescues Sam and the other humans.

 

yeah i can see it but for them to be reverent, they have to fight a larger threat like a Combiner or more beastformes (Predacons)? I just dont see how Bay could use them again in the massive beast modes without it being the same thing we will get this movie.

 

They can't just drop them. People would be annoyed, fans will rage, kids will cry, and haters will laugh with a smug face.

I think they'll change appearance though.

 

I hope that they keep them for story clarity. But it does scare me a little. I hope that you're wrong, but I think you're right.

My big question will be, what will Bay do with Hound, Crosshairs and Drift? You know Hasbro will want new toys and or to have these guys be changed to something else so new toys can be made. I just dont see much that can be done with them to make the vehicles looks different enough to make new toys. And I really dont think I can stand 2 more movies of Bee being a Camaro lol.

 

They are exactly what I expected from a Bay movie: powerful brutes that the Autobots use when desperately needed. I am surprised that Grimlock didn't talk, but I do like the silent warrior type as well.

I hope they return though because it really is cool to see Dinos.

 

One thing I must know! Is there any scenes of Galvatron on his own plotting, or talking to the vehicons? Because that is all I need!!!!

 

2:45 is a long movie. I'm curious to those that have seen it, is there a lot of filler that could have been cut or is that time required to tell the story?

 

didnt someone say they talk in cybertonian or at least Grim and OP talk to each other in cybertonian? I for once am happy to actually hear OP speak the native language LMAO! This is one thing that we all were questioning in the last 3 movies. I even joked and said "What is it with the Autobots, they all come to Earth and forget how to talk in their own language?"

 

Well, they can give Drift another copter or other flying vehicle and still keep the Bugatti, but have him transform more into the flying vehicle. Crosshairs and Hound might get "better set representations" or be killed "offscreen," like Leadfoot and Ratchet.

I get the feeling that they are the Ironhide and Ratchet of the new trilogy, with one getting killed off every film. It makes me wonder how much Hasbro pushed Bay to get rid of characters like Swipe and the Wreckers though.
