I'll probably get not-Solus Prime first, to try the mold on a character that Hasbro probably won't do. If it's good, may get the others from MMC.

 

MMC's is definitely better than Hasbro's. That backpack is awful and the headscupt isn't great.

On the other hand, considering the prototype for MMC's was shown at LAST year's Botcon, I'm not confident either are ever coming out.  

 

Well MMC, it's all up to you. Hasbro brought their game to the Arcee table and it was a D-game at best. Hoping to have Azalea in hand this Christmas.

 

Hasbro has won the Arcee war for me, hands down, no competition at all for my choice. With that said, Elita 1 is a must buy for me due to hasbro giving us no option LOL

 

Really nice car mode on the hasbro version... but that is it. The proportions on their Arcee look awkward.

Now that Brainstrom on the other hand does take a lot from the comic. Hip area is weird but neither the Toyworld not the Fansproject one (not counting that amazing transformation) don't fill my IDW crave.

 

Indeed! As a huge fan of the IDW comics, I'm looking forward to both Hasbro's Brainstorm and MMC's not-Arcee.  

Really I'll probably pick up the Hasbro one as well, just to have a classic Arcee. But MMC hits the IDW aesthetic with Azalea. I might also pick up MMC's Solus and Elita.

 

I'm very excited for Elita-1. I don't mind the colors, remind me of this picture:

 

I believe the test shots currently on display at Botcon are close to the final color schemes. I will be back at TFcon this year.

 

So generations Arcee and Chromia look pretty terrible, guess MMC can breathe a sigh of relief, I really don't think they're going to lose many sales of their Arcee at all now.

Also oh my they need to do a chromia version now too. ^_^

Think I'm only getting Solus Prime and Elita One. Maybe Arcee. I still really love PE's Arcee

I'm now of the opinion that I want Hasbro's Arcee and Chromia...but I certainly still want MMC's. Ultimately it's going to come down to the fact that MMC's fembots are going to be more articulate than Hasbro's take. Hasbro Arcee is the G1 version but MMC's is a better Classics style Cybertronian mode, so that's probably going to be the one displayed in the end.

Why wouldn't you get both? Hasbro's will be like $15. It's not exactly a case of either or.

The Hasbro Arcee and Chromia look fantastic in alt modes. The Bot modes, I am not sure, but they both have a lot of potential, especially if the Shapeway Head for RID and BH Arcee fit (Chromia seems to be using parts from it).

Now don't forget that this year, Hasbro is making Windblade, which is their BEST fembot ever. Wow, that beats everything else from Hasbro's new reveals, getting a few of those, keeping one in those colors, and some repaints for sure.

The other huge reveal, Brainstorm, wow, really looks awesome for the price.

That is a shame, wishing the face on Azalea was white instead of silver, but oh well. Anyways, looking really forward to seing the Feral Queen, the green medic, and salvia at the moment, and thanks for the update. Going to wait to see more pics before deciding which ones to get.

Indeed, that is the big question, why not get ALL at the prices mentioned if they look good to you personally???

 

Thank you! I was eagerly waiting for a clearer shot of Solus's face. I realize they had limited source material to work with but... is that a faceplate? That looks more Optimus Prime than a fembot.

the hasbro fembots looked decent, but the proportions are off, like the big wheels on one and the huge backpack on the other kinda make them not as attractive to me.

 

I'm late but how do these scale with MP line? (I.e mp10, mp12) I like how leo and his gang scale with with the mp line. If the fembots scale well then ill get them all
