Wait, I thought the "Sentinel kills Ironhide and is actually evil" twist was spoiled by the DOTM novelization summary on Amazon?

 

Indeed. But someone said that here on the boards, some idiot posted a thread title like, "SENTINEL KILLS IRONHIDE SPOILERS" a few days before U.S. release I think.

 

It was, I just used that particular spoiler as an example  

 

The review was probably fake, I mean it was very vague on details (other than what has been shown on trailers and tv-spots...which was what this guy obviously saw). Plus he got Lockdown's name wrong and did not even mention the alien fleet in orbit (which i still think is Quintessons as why would Lockdown talk to Galvatron...who is pretty much lobotomized before gaining sentience.

And I doubt the Dinobots are barely in it, since the posters for the last three films (barring Megatron in the first) showed characters and such that appeared in quite a bit of the films.

 

*cough*Shockwave*cough*

 

The Dinobots got more screen time in all trailers/tv spots combined then Shockwave got in the entirety of DTOM.  

 

Front page has a toy version of Drift as a helicopter.

Believe the person who saw it said that Drift was not the helicopter, this pokes holes in that.

 

Difference is, in every DOTM trailer, we saw one shot of Shockwave loading his cannon, rarely any other scenes others than that.

The Dinobots are everywhere in these trailers and every few tv spots they are in a completely different area.

Plus the Dinobots (well, Grimlock) already have more screen time than Shockwave, it's safe bet they play a bigger role than he did.

 

And that big alien fleet does not look anything like the Cybertronian ships we have already seen in the trilogy, they do look like they belong to something completely different.

 

Uhhh I think I'll just ignore the spoilers and go see for myself. I think this movie is gonna be fucking beast!

 

I would still watch it no matter how bad anyone says it is.

 

20 minutes is a long time. Almost a whole tv show. Devastator and almost every other transformer character cept the main bots and cons, never got that much screen time.

People may say things like :

"Why are they marketing this movie with the Dinobots, almost all the footage you see of them in the Movie is in the trailers and TV spots"

"I expected to see the Dinobots fighting things - and their only in the last few minutes"

"I expected to see a Transformers movie and all I got was a over protective dad and a awkward teen romance story"

"Like Dude this Movie was like a rehash of the previous ones dude"

I'll also see if I can guess what Spoony might say...

Yup that would be it. I like that design better than the green Stingray that is in the movie but that's not to say I don't like the way he looks. Just think that would've been cooler, especially the sound of it in the theater speakers.

 

I'm hearing there is leaked footage of Prime vs. Galvatron from the Hong Kong Preimere, anyone see it?

Got to attend the TRANSFORMERS world premiere in Hong Kong. The film is entertaining, epic and an ever so awesome display of scenery of Hong Kong and China the way only Michael Bay could capture. Incredibly proud of the whole production especially producer Tom Desanto who's next mega franchise will be east west to the next level... Stay tuned. #transformers #worldpremiere
