Watched it for a second time without the sound, no offence to Constipated Owl but his sheer lack of WFC & FOC was distracting  

All in all it seems like a good mixture of the two universes. Obviously the High Moon influence won out in terms of weapons and the hud.

It was awesome to see the three characters in the same level too.

 

They really did just copy the Cybertron sections from FOC.

 

Yeah, alot of very familiar looking levels. Hopefully they'll have the same playability as FOC while still having brand new layouts.

Also noticed when he's scrolling through the levels (Swindle then later Bumblebee for 2 levels? Deja vú much? come on guys, new characters or under-utilized ones at least!) Cybertron Sideswipe makes his return as a playable character.

I really hope there is a co-op, didn't see anything suggesting that in the video. Sharpshot + co-op = Insecticon goodness!

And Soundwave's special ability is Lazerbeak and Rumble .. Awesome!

 

So is the game spoilerish for the movie? I wanted to only watch Part 1 to get a preview of what the game looks like and some of the story, but since it ties in to AoE, can anyone confirm that it's just a loose adaptation and doesn't give away any plot point? (Especially since the first level seems to be Drift, and Drift probably has something in the movie that can easily be spoiled.)

 

Difficult to tell, I think the use of Drift was simply to peak interest in the game and lets be honest, they had to introduce at least ONE new 'bot. I assumed the Earth portions of the game would be similar to the DotM game, same characters but more of a, 'in the events leading up to AoE' sort of deal.

 

Lockdown's voice is awful.

Yup, looks like Activision is getting the videos taken down.

 

God dammit. Just when I was in the middle of watching them.

 

It's a sequel to the film so there may be some references to things that happened in AOE. I doubt that it'll spoil much of the story.

Aaaaand now the video's been taken down by Activision. Oh well. I did see the first level on some other video. Looks like I could have some fun with this game, though I expect it to get better progressively. If the rest of the game isn't better than the first level I'm not gonna buy it.
