Complexity wise they seem on par with the first trilogy. What I have noticed from the 4 transformations we have seen is so far none of them have shown the transformations from multiple angles and positions like they have often been in the past. No underside views like Bonecrusher on the freeway or the camera twisting around Prime as he transforms. We've only seen them from either one side and maybe a bit from the back (OP and Grimmy) or from the front only (Bee) or just from one angle (Lockdown). I would presume this would mean less CGI to render so therefore simpler (cheaper) to produce.
Feel free to correct me anyone if im wrong.

Why has nobody talked about the scene with Optimus tumbling over the agents car? You see people go flying to their deaths hahaha

 

This too, also cheaper....cheaper means more bots on screen time! We ALL love that!

 

Regardless of whether or not they're cheating with the transformations this time, Optimus' transformation looks pretty rad.

Hound, Bee and Crosshairs dodge them and they Optimus is just like   "shit"

 

Someone need to make GIF of Prime's full transformation!

 

I have got to stop watching these things. That full Optimus transformation just got ruined... it would've been so much better seeing for the first time in the theaters

The updated Strafe/Bee scene looks stunning but Prime's transformation was the cheatiest transformation ever.
