WM rollbacked the price of deluxe at least two weeks ago.

 

One of these days I'd like to make it to a Botcon. SDCC is usually my priority since it's so much broader, but I'd bet one of these years Botcon may make an exclusive set where I like a majority of the figures. Not too many this year interest me but that Flamewar looks pretty cool, and I love that mold. Not surprisingly, it's also going for crazy money ($120-plus) right now on eBay.

 

I usually just get the box set and sell it to cover my costs. But I've never traveled for Botcon - I'm lucky it's landed in LA so often.

 

Lone AOE Hound and two Galvatrons at TRU in Montebello this afternoon. Other than that, nothing else worth noting.

On a side note, have the AOE deluxes been cleared off shelves in your guys' locations? I haven't seen a single AOE deluxe on shelves in a while, though the IDW stuff has been around.

There is a walmart near me that has a whole endcap display of just wave 1 deluxe. it's was pretty full still when I was there last time.

 

I've seen a Galvatron at the Ceres Walmart, and at the Modesto Target (on McHenry) in the past 2 days.

 

Hey all. Stopped by the Walmart in Eastlake and there wasn't anything TF related but they have put out some of the new TMNT stuff. None of the standard figures but all 4 of the turtles in a 12" size as well as battle packs which are the bandana and weapon role play sets, they also had some 6" scale figure with action gimmicks. I tried to upload pics but the site and my phone are not getting along this morning.

I don't think anyone is disputing that but since it was found at Target a week or two ago the thought process is that it should be found more often. Those Hasbro release placards are more general than concrete anyways. There aren't any street dates on any current Generations cases.

Oh yeah. I almost forgot until your post. Dublin Toys R Us had 1 Galvatron and 1 Hound at the front of the store display.

 

That makes sense. As it is though, I've yet to see a box set that I've really liked for a bunch of years.

For those looking for Guardians of the Galaxy Legends, two Star-Lords were left over in the Brentwood Lone Tree Target, the first I've seen at retail. I have the whole wave, most are solid with Groot, Nova and Drax being the standouts.
