Couldn't disagree more, unfortunately. Man, I can't think of a single megatron toy that has a pleasing face sculpt. Not hedgemon, not the MP, not the recent tank voyager (though that one is kinda okay, if not for the smile)...they all fail miserably :(

peopel have had issues with KL optimus? mine was for lack of a better word.....flawless. The only thing is, the stand is a joke because op is way too heavy to be supported by it in the air...just can be used to prop him up in the back if you pose him off balance. The rest of him...i'd say one of the highest quality (in terms of production value not "QC" as some of you have had issues) TF related items ever produced (higher than takara MP, and even PE's Warden figure). everything about the feel in hand was awesome. I'm hoping they fix the face because it'd be nice to have a megatron for op to fight (recurring theme for collectors of the MP line unfortnately lol).

Glad you posted this. I too was wondering about the QC issues as I only found 1 or 2 complaints while all other reviews have been pretty stellar. I'm still on the fence about buying Prime but having a Megatron to go with him makes me think I'll buy everything.

How can anyone look at that bot mode with the GIANT head, and wonder if this transforms? Really? Is this fandom that dense?

The minis don't have any articulation I believe. Fixed in those poses.

It probably cheats by having the head just come off and sit off to the side

I will never buy another item from these guys. My Prime came with paint defects and they did nothing. After weeks of messages they finally requested pics and then never responded.

LOL at all you babies complaining about QC issues, i've only had issues with 2 items i've ever bought with QC issues. one was my yellow lion from matty collector voltron lion force club subscription and that was taken care of right away. mind you i was risking not even getting a replacement and possible most likely getting just a refund then i would have been screwed one lion missing from my set and then was my KL PRIME that i ordered with BBTS and mind you i notice the issue with the right arm and hand a few days afterwards and right away i emailed them they requested pictures and then they sent me a return label and less than a week i got a brand new figure with fixed arm. i am sure that after that PRIME QC issues that KL will not be doing the same mistakes. . . if the QC really bothers you get off your ass and do something about it like contacting who you ordered with and get a replacement. . .

Tried that too buddy, TFSource was not stocking anymore so that was no help, but they were willing to give me 20% off. TFSource recommended I contact KL direct...but thanks for your concern and I didn't have to get off my ass to send some emails and pics.

I'm going to glue the armor together once I finish fixing the wiring in mine. Or whatever the hell is causing it to screw up.

Mine had a whole bunch of shit wrong with it. The ratchet in his right arm doesn't work so he can't hold up much, the arm also falls out if moved at all. His left arm is fine at the joint, but if you move it at all it turns the LED insignia off. And if you try to turn it on in certain poses it won't work, or it will flicker for a bit and shut off about 5 seconds after posing it. I think there were only 2 angles I could get his arm to stay at where it light up or just not shut off after a while.

LOL at this baby thinking he knows shit and can talk. How about you get some common sense before backtalking people when they've even specifically stated they did what you're bitching about not having done?

    Such as

    And now

Oh, and as for me, I got $5.06 back as a refund for the defects after a week of silence and another week of pestering for some compensation. $5.06 back on a $120 figure.

yet, i have a replacement and am happy with my figure. . . and i'm the baby. . . lol right

BBTS took care of the problem. . .

people who complain and whine about QC this and that are what mess up collecting for everyone else.

How exactly does complaining about a defect in a product ruin collecting?? If anything, it should help companies keep an eye on their products. This statement makes no sense to me. The fact that you chose BBTS and those with issues did not, should not be thrown in their face. Thank you for letting us know that BBTS helped, but contacting KL themselves should have fixed ANY problem...but it didn't...for me.

I've been debating whether or not to get Optimus since he's fairly expensive and was waiting to see who else they were going to make to go with him, but this head sculpt for Megatron is just...a bit too SD for me. Sort of like I felt about Starscream's head for the little statues. I was going to pass on those as well; I like the members of my collection to have at least some articulation so they can do different poses together, even though I really liked that Soundwave. If they do him in the larger size I'll be in real trouble!
