I remeber that before movieverse came, I watched alot of Transformers Cybertron. I was so hooked up to it, that I kept recording each episode.Anyway, when I went to see a movie, I saw the first teaser of Transformers 2007(which is my favorite)I was both excited and confused. Excited because I saw the Autobot symbol, which meant that it was going to be a Transformers movie. Confused because I didn't know how it was going to be like. At first I was ''Oh my god! Transformers Cybertron is getting a movie!Yes!'' And then, the real trailer came. I was like ''What.The.Crap''(In a good way, that is) I was hyped. Anyway, when I went to see it, I was around the age of eight, I think. I was with my mom, dad, and baby sis. It was like the first weekend it came out, so you probably know how packed it was. I remembered my reaction when that one soldier got impaled by Skorponok, ''OH MY GOD! HE GOT STABBED BY THE SCORPION-THINGY! I HOPE HE'S OKAY! I also remember seeing Jazz getting ripped appart, and let me tell ya, I wasn't the only one who screamed.Lastly, I shouted when OP transformed and introduced every one. Everybody cheared, screamed, and shouted! It was a truly a wonderful experience. I ended up seeing it like two more times so I can analyze it better.

My first experience with the Transformers live action franchise was similar to many. I was young (...-er. Younger. I'm still pretty young.) I was 8 years old at the time I read there would be a Live action movie back in 2005. I was already extremely interested in Transformers, more than the average child. I had a whole bunch of the toys (As much as I could get my hands on: about 20 figures), and I was super excited. I was raised on the Unicron Trilogy, and had already gotten into the G1 and Beast Wars cartoons via the Internet. The development of the movie only deepened my interest. Because of this gain, that year, I asked Santa Claus for a very special gift.

"It was the year 2005,"... Literally. The top of my Christmas list: "Transformers: The Movie (1986)." Lo and behold, I actually got a VHS copy of it that Christmas. I immediately took it back to my room, popped it into the VCR and watched it wide-eyed. This movie was so epic, a joy ride of action and Rock N' Roll! If I could experience a similarly action packed modern film with REAL Transformers, then my childhood would be raised to a whole new level.

But I digress. I followed the production religiously. I literally applauded when I found out that PETER CULLEN would voice Optimus. I was surprised when I first saw the teaser trailer. I went to see some movie at the theatre in December of 2006. To see the Transformers logo and Autobot insignia on the big screen made my heart jump. Months passed. More trailers kept coming, and the film looked better and better each time.

Finally, the week of release came and I was ecstatic. My mother saw in the newspaper that there would be a Preview screening the day before release at 8:00 pm. That day, we got our tickets early, and went to get some dinner to pass the time until the showing.

My family arrived at the movie theatre, and I saw something that I had never seen before. There was a line. A long line. A VERY LONG LINE. This line spanned from the usher kiosk inside all the way out the door of the theatre. We got in line and waited about twenty minutes. They began letting people in, and the line slowly snaked through inside. Finally, I took my seat. That theatre was the most packed showing of any film I had ever seen, and it remains so to this day. I waited through the trailers with the most anticipation that I had ever felt in my life.

The lights dimmed, and the hustle of the crowd shushed. The DreamWorks logo appeared, but with a robotic sound. I had never heard anything like it. Then, the same happened with the Paramount logo. The titles scrolled. "Paramount Pictures Presents... In association with Hasbro..." (The crowd found this funny and chuckled).

    The screen went black.

"Before time began, there was... The Cube."

That moment, in pitch darkness, when Cullen's voice boomed through the theatre, was one of the most powerful moments of my childhood.

I watched the whole thing in excitement. I was on the edge of my seat, grinning ear-to-ear the entire time. I loved that movie. It was the greatest action movie I had ever seen. I walked out of that theatre with copious energy. I saw it again a few days later.

Many find faults with this film, and I can't blame them. In terms of literal "cinematic art form," the movie leaves much to be desired to many. I, however, to this day love this film with as much eagerness as the day that my 9-year-old self first watched it. It has been and will forever remain to be the most nostalgic and vividly appreciated movie I have ever seen.

To those who have read this far, I must share both my gratitude and apology. Thank you for taking the time to read this and allowing me to share my story. I also apologize for making it so long and involved. This film wasn't simply a movie-going event, it was a complete two-year phase of my childhood with an unforgettable climax. It was a two-year growth in my love for Transformers. It was an entire experience that I will always cherish.

Well, it was in the start of 2008, if I'm not wrong. I was young and was really hyped to watch the first Bayformer movie. I only watched RID in my childhood and I really liked it.

My aunt rented the DVD for me, so I could finally watch it. It was a Saturday night, I remember I stopped the movie to buy pizza with my mom. I wanted to watch the rest of the movie, but eating pizza. :p

If I'm not wrong, I stopped it right before the Mission City battle, so it was a lot of fun to me to watch that part eating pizza.

In the next morning I watched it again, and if I'm not wrong in the next day again. I didn't want to return the movie, 'cause, as I said to my mom that day, I would miss Ironhide's bulldog face.

Kinda lame story, but that's it :D

I didn't get to see the first movie in the theater, but I got to watch ROTF. Let me tell you this...I was just getting into the brand, and was just finding out about G1 and other continuities...and I was about eleven years old at the time. When I walked out, I thought it was amazing. Explosions, deaths, explosions, robots, giant robot, helicopter coming from the sky, boooommmmmmm, guns, explosions, YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then, after I got home...I started to think about the plot. It didn't make any sense to me...so I had the chance to watch it again...I understood it more, but I couldn't figure out the massive plot holes. Then I went to watch DOTM. I thought it was the best one so far, but I was older and could understand things better. Now looking at it, DOTM may not have been as good as the first...but its right there with it I think. Now that AOE is out, I think this one will be the best judging by the changes of characters. I will have to reserve judgment until I watch it though of coarse.

I remember seeing in a video store poster Transformers 2 ROTF, I saw the trailer and the first sight, I thought awful (literally hated Transformers already), then I went to borrow some movies for me to watch my cousin, she ended up sending TF2 this package, and I took a weekend, I was there doing nothing, because I had already seen all the films she had loaned me, TF2 is less clear, then I get curious with the movie, so I decided to watch, I was alone, then after I saw the opening scenes of a transformation (which was the Ironhide) and soldiers (NEST) with robots (Autobots) hunting a huge portion (I forgot the name of that Decepticon) started to actually watch the movie, then reached part that Optimus dies, I felt nothing just said "Wow" (now almost crying in that scene), ta well after Optimus died appears Fallen and his ugly face all over TV, and at that time my mother appears and speaks " that ugly thing is this? " (Kkkkkkk), let's jump a little, okay well then we are there in Egypt with a boy in the head with symbols (Sam) Loading half with dust from something called Matrix, did not understand a lot, so Sam dies and conversation with other robots (the six Primes) he returns to live and sticks his restored in Spark of Optimus Matrix after he faces everyone I reviewed the movie and thought it was good.

With each passing day, keep researching the movie and loved the Camaro SS Bogoube (Bumblebee was so called in the beginning) was transformed, after I saw his real name and started researching the characters, I saw that there was Transformers the movie or TF1, then won the DVD movie birthday and I won my cousin TF2 too, so I started to watch and repitir, more research on them, making me a fan of Transformers.

After a while, I played Transformers War for Cybertron and started to get inside of DOTM that was the beginning of the recordings, I followed everything, from beginning to end, I resisted the TV Spot and went to watch the premiere of the movie that came out in 3D with my mother. When released on DVD already bought and started watching Transformers Prime and Transformers G1 epic series in the range of two years waiting for TF4.

After more time, the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters series and movie Predacons Rising ended, I was on the side of the Decepticons with my favorite scientist Shockwave course the game Transformers Fall of Cybertron was the best I've ever played that gave me the Transformers my favorite leader Grimlock (nothing against Optimus) then came 2014, and the minute epic track from start to finish the best of the 4 films Transformers Age of Extinction!!! With much new with the Dinobots and the legendary bounty hunter I've ever seen - Lockdown course.

Today, I am a big fan of Transformers, because if you have a doubt in the history of the planet or the beginning of the war or the origin of a (still not all) character just ask I'll answer you clearly!! OOHH! !!

    Thanks for reading!

I was not a fan of TFs before the first movie. When I would bet TFs for Christmas, I would honestly get disappointed, not that'd I didn't appreciate the gift or anything, I just didn't like TFs. And then the 2007 movie came out. I had seen nothing of it before, no trailers, tv spots, clips or anything. I was sitting in the theater, Optimus' opening monologue made me jump because I didn't expect it. Still wasn't impressed. And then Blackout showed up. I thought he was just some helicopter. Then the pilots face did that weird holographic flicker thing, and he transformed. Awwww man, it was SO cool! Been hooked on transformers ever since. Followed the production of the 3 sequels very closely, watched the 2 Tv shows that came after the first movie, bought a lot, and I mean A LOT of the toys. TF 2007 is my G1

I was a 27 year old life-long transformers fan and I saw it at the cinema with a fellow life-long transformer fan(28) We both thought it was 'okay' there were good points but many many flaws. (like it being hard to figure out what exactly was going on and telling the tfs apart, and Sam's happy time)
I didn't buy any of the toys.

Went and took the bus to go to my mom's work and then met up with her there and go to the movies immediately afterwards.

I remember the car ride home being all like...why did Jazz have to die. :lol

Man, the first one I saw was the animated 86 movie. And in an age where the G1 cartoon was all we had up until then, that was a trip. Characters didn't... DIE like that before the film.

Limiting ourselves to the live action films, I was lucky enough to see it early at a preview screening. Honestly, what I remember most about the night was losing my wallet and getting this amazing ginger iced tea whose flavor has haunted me ever since (a thousand curses on Far Coast Tea for cancelling the flavor). But seeing the film, we didn't know what to expect, it was a spectacle. The first reveal of a Transformation, the Mission City fight, even the heart that Bumblebee and Sam showed for eachother, we walked out of the movie saying "well, that went better than expected".

Well, the very first Tf movie I watched was the 80's one. Remember saw the commercial for the VHS on tv and I just begged my parents to go get my copy. After a very long day I finally arrived home and put the tape on the VCR and hit the play button. I gotta say that it was one of the happiest moments on my life.
From Unicron's apperance, the extended version, the presentation in Cybertron, the Autobot City battle, the EPIC final battle between Megatron and Prime, Prime's death was one of the sadest memories I have. T.T Then introducing the new character, finding out that Galvatron WAS MEGATRON!!!! O______O WTF?!??!, the whole Unicron transforming sequence, Hot Rod turning into Rodimus and the ending already saying Optimus will return. AND THE THEME SSONG AGAIN!!!! :D  Such a great experience. Til this day is the best! The animation, the soundtrack, the cast. It's incredible!
I still feel like a kid whenever I watch it. ^^

Very first TF film I ever watched was TF 2007. Up until then, I didn't even know what Transformers even was. I knew it was around, but never bothered getting into it. I remember my 7th grade teacher showing the special features from the DVD of the first movie and i thought "maybe i should get this, it looks sick". So I got it on DVD and fell IN LOVE with it. Afterwards I looked up G1 and got a taste for it, slowly but surely becoming a transfan.

The there was Revenge of The Fallen, my very first CINEMATIC transformers experience. Oh. My. GOD. Still to this day the best movie experience I've ever had! I was like 13 or so at the time so every joke was funny to me, every action scene was LOOUUUDDD and awesome! I remember walking outta that theater like I had just been on some insane rollercoaster. ROTF also introduced me to getting the TF toys for the first time, because they were THAT good.

IMO ROTF's human parts are at least..interesting, albeit silly. DOTM is just straight boring with it's human story.

I was eight years old when i first saw transformers movie. I had seen the teaser trailer for it infront of some movie much more for kids my age and i think they played the wrong trailer but anyway i saw the trailer and shat bricks. I went insane and wanted to see the movie sooo badly. We were there the 3rd day of release and it was my first real older movie. I loved it... I saw it 5 times in the theaters and 2 times in 1 day back to back. It is what got me into transformers and I actually thank Michael Bay for it because without him I probably wouldnt even know much about Transformers and its awesome community and lore to this day. I also force myself to like the other two films as guilty pleasures because the first one is what made my childhood for me. So yeah i really hope age of extinction is as good as the first one atleast because boy oh boy that would make me one happy person.
