That line alone makes this movie better than revenge of the fallen

Me taking a dump on the street is probably more interesting, and has a better plot than Revenge Of The Fallen.

Wonder if they will eventually speak of Primus. ROTF mentioned him slightly though. "You got to wonder, God made us in his image. Who made him?"

I think you might have quoted the wrong guy, cause that has nothing to do with what I asked.

Just because he's been depicted as Cybertron in the past doesn't necessarily mean he's ''dead''. Besides the Allspark is what gave birth to all life, the fact that shards still exist means that the Transformers "creator" still exists in some capacity.

    But seriously guys.

There was no way Lockdown was saying "you were built" to Optimus despite just witnessing him fight a human-made Transformer who also happens to be in that very same scene and is about to be called back to the humans who built him.

Calling it now, you're all setting yourselves up for nothing.

That line of Lockdowns made me think of something from the first movie. Optimus says something along the lines that the Allspark gives life but no one knew where it came from. So this gives me the impression that perhaps the Transformers were built by someone and they had the power (the Allspark) to give them life. Now whether that someone is the Quints or not, I don't know. However, I do realize this doesn't fit in with the "Optimus is a descendent" stuff unless he was built with the intention that he be their descendant since the other Primes sacrificed themselves and there weren't any Primes to lead.

Other than that bit of speculation, going from that snippet in the tv spot, it would make more sense he was talking to Galvatron. But it also doesn't give the whole story either. It wont be long until we all know for sure.

Galvatron plays a much larger role in this film than we've been led to believe. Just think about it: Galvatron is a major character in Transformers lore, so there's no way he's going to be relegated to a mere side-character in this movie; he will play a big role and will be perhaps the central figure in the plot. Think of Dark of the Moon. Before it was released, no one could conclude, based on the trailers, that Sentinel Prime would play as large a role as he did and that he'd be the central villain; the trailers for Dark of the Moon were intentionally shady in regard to Sentinel. The same is being done with Galvatron in Age of Extinction.
