Yep, I just saw on Facebook that they issued the first wave of beta invites. I didn't get one though.

 

Hoping I get one.

Meltdown, Frontline, Duststorm, and Conduit all look tops. Can't wait for the next two guys

 

Just be aware there may be an NDA involved in the beta so saying you are a member of it might be against it. Just a forewarning for peeps.

 

just finished the Beta, gameplay is VERY CHOPPY, I have a high end PC, so it was not my computer. When there were more than 3 players together gameplay slowed to a crawl, some of my commands were delayed by 7 seconds, the game needs a lot of work, has potential, but I don't think it should ever have been a browser only game. I got a headache because of all the choppyness. Here are some of the other autobot names

Ah this sucks! I was invited to the closed beta but as of late my computer got the blue screen of death  

 

Given that I now know who Catapult and Showdown are, here are my guesses for the other guys in shadow:
Sparkscape is the rally truck because he uses a flamethrower
Macro is the Rodimus-looking guy
Outsider is the blue and yellow dude

The last one is Arcee, because her colors are a match.

 

Just played elimination on a 2 hour beta as an autobot, I did not get one kill, the decepticons are so overpowered it's a joke, another thing equipment was disabled, but somehow the other team was using special abilities, firing slowing shots. I've never been so frustrated in playing a game like this before. All the other team did was hide behind a rock with each other while my team was all over. The cheating in this game will make the game unplayable

 

Got an update e-mail. Anyone got $450 to drop on this game?

Hehe, nope. Not for any game. Not even for a brand new next-gen console.

 

Just had a quick go. Went straight into a 4 player battle with only the briefest of tutorials. So I didn't really have a clue what any of my weapons or gear actually did. Predictably I got my ass handed to me. I'll have another stab later.

Didn't notice any major issues. loading time is a little long, but nothing major.

I know it's just a beta, but here is my experience and some words what they can do better.
After the third crash in a row, the game finally launches correctly.
The tutorial was a bit, ... "odd" ..., but it gave me an introduction into the game.
The idea behind the game is brilliant (bots vs cons war) and I need to say that nobody is overpowered if you have enough medics in your team.

But please, please don't force us to play the game with the unity web player. This thing crashes more than it should. If they made the game downloadable, it would be perfect. (It also fixes some graphical issues, unity web player is s**)

 

Eh I don't know gameplay feels really choppy, I had my abilities locked while the autobots were constantly imobilizing, slowing me and stuff. I play MOBA games for years but I still felt extremely lost even after the (not so helpful) tutorial.

 

The Decepticons being "Overpowered" is probably because you haven't gotten the reigns of the game just yet. I though the Autobots were overpowered when i first played but i realized it was like that because i suck, i just started and i was going against users who were in testing much longer.

Rank up to Lv.2 or so, then you'll be able to.

And learn to use dem S-Techs. they will save your butt. You're probably getting busted by Rampart's grenade launcher's S-tech. (Best mech A+ 10/10 .) Your Autobot equivalent is Monsoon's Acid Rain.

 

Im just bumping this for fellow BETA testers, the NDA is now finished for Transformers Universe. You can now screencap, stream and film the beta. Just remember that there are some bugs here and there and when posting stuff, link back to the TFU site.

 

dose it usually take forever to get into a match? Ive been in the que for about 10 min now and the game says avarge wait time is about 2 min? am I doing somthing wrong?

 

I'm getting to the Log-In page and it says there's an authentication error? I've got my account and password right for sure, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Anybody know what's wrong?
