I just kind of went nuts reading this information. I REALLY started to believe the rally car was just an old rally car. I guess I really wanted the Rally Fighter to be a Transformer so bad I tried to rule out the possibility of the Sonic. But of all the character names, Hot Shot? Well, you better act that name XD

 

Bumblebee, Drift and Hot Shot don't matter to me. I just want Snarl and Slog.

 

I did the math,It is 74.99 for those 2 voyagers,so: 74.99/2=37.495 which would round up to 37.50

Wave 4 needs to be all Decepticons/Vehicons. We've gotten only two bad guys so far, that is sad.
At this point I hope Drift is a Decepticon sleeper agent, and double crosses the Autobots.. just so we have at least three Decepticon figures before all the Bumblebee's clogging shelves get future waves canned all over again.

Would it make sense for Optimus Prime to become a blood-thirsty psychopath? No, but it happened. Seriously, this could be anything. Michael Bay doesn't give a damn. I don't think most people working on the movies do. And that's fine, but trying to guess who a character is based on a vehicle is nigh impossible with the movies at this point (unless it's Optimus or Bumblebee).

 

I'm 99% sure that the toy is just a Crosscut repaint and that Rally car is just a Rally car in the movie - the only reason the Rally car would have to Transformer would be if the shapshifting nature of Stinger allowed him to copy the vehicle and play a trick on them... but if that was the case surely the robot mode would look at least a bit like Stinger or one of the Human's Generics.

But nope the Rally Car is seemingly just a normal car used by the Shane (is it?) to rescue the pair from the Government types... then cue car chase scene with the NEST like Sports car like SUVS.

I think the great or more interesting Mysteries are around Stinger and perhaps Lockdown.. and even Galvatron.

Personally I Would love to see hot shot in age of extinction, but I don;t think it would work because if you look at every TF series you either have Hot Shot or Bumblebee, Animated was an exception, but Hot shot was only in part of an episode. Now would I want to see both Bee and Hot Shot, ABSOLUTELY, but I don't know if it can play out considering they both have similar personalities.

 

Again i thought it was implied that Hasbro WOULDN'T be making toy-only characters for AOE Generations and would only make toys for the character that ARE in the movie.
