i absolutely love lockdowns voice more every time i hear it.. it's just perfect.. i like animated lockdowns voice, and it fit that character, but i like this one MUCH better. i can't wait to see this.
My theory is the ships are sent to cause extinction on planets once they get powerful enough to be a possible threat to the one who sent them. First time on earth to get rid of dinobots sealing them in stone for million years. Then present day as humans start to create their own army of transformers an transformers op on earth. Autobots, dinobots and then humans too in the end have to stand together to defeat them.
We'll have to agree to disagree because Lockdown looks and sounds funny to me, not intimidating or credible. "You think you're the center of the universe." He's not exactly spouting grade A bad ass smack talk there. Who is this guy, Cybertron's answer to Dr. Phil? "So, Optimus Prime! You killed Megatron and your old mentor and thought that would take care of all your problems. How's that working out for ya?" Oh well, I'm only seeing this movie for the Dinobots.
Eh, I dunno. One line is far too hard to comment on, but if he doesn't get much more than this, it'll be hard to talk about anyway (and let's be honest, it wouldn't be surprising if he barely said anything more). I'm not digging it, but it could definitely work. I guess I'll see how it turns out in the movie. Someone from this God-forsaken country has something meaningful and legitimately good to say. Wholy crap. That must be a first.
Lockdown looks awesome. Very predatory there with that hiding in the swamp and his minions. But that line: "You think you're the centre of the universe." Really? Nick Fury is very displeased.

I highly doubt that. It appears to me that when Lockdown emerges from the water in the first scene, he is in a lake near Cades barn, scouting the area and possibly spying on Cade and Optimus Prime when they are together in the barn.
wow.. i honestly don't see how someone can't find his voice paired with his look intimidating and credible. and why would he need to be using "smack talk".. i think it's a GREAT line for a trailer, it really has emphasized a running theme of there being more in this universe than cybertron and earth. i don't at all see how you get a dr. phil vibe AT ALL. lockdown comes off as a calm, cool, cunning, confident, bad ass villain. (alliteration wasn't on purpose) he's perfect so far, in my opinion.. it's a shame you dislike it so much.. i'm not sure how much better they could do.. i mean, what would you want him to sound like? neither sentinel, megatron, starscream, or shockwave were anything like this.
Wow Lockdown now both sounds like a generic movie bot as well as look like one! Yawn. I'm in it for the Dinobots only anyway...
My only complaint against Lockdown, is that something the size of a Lambo is kicking the crap out of something the size of a Western Star, especially it being Optimus. I would have liked his face gimmick if it was the short barrel was see in this new clip. Not that any of these can be put into toy form at all, but the huge gun face is just way out there. I really liked the first three movie's toys being able to match their movie counterparts.
