I like Sideswipe's chest. It's like G1 without being too G1. But the general lack of the third dimensional illusion- IE that they could exist in a 3D world- bothers me. It's very "Flash animated" looking, similar to Rescue Bots, and that look has always bothered me. It's just... Flat. Rescue Bots is pretty clearly the primary influence here, not Animated like some have said.

Is Sideswipe Knockout? That's who I first thought when I saw the pictures.

I hope not, as I like the Knockout and I think he and Sideswipe are nothing alike. At all. So I'd like these two characters to stay their own respective characters. Moreover, if Knockout is returning to the new show, I hope his voice actors does too, as he really made the character likable.

 

I wonder if Sidewipe is Knock Out with a new name or a new character? If he is new, I hope Knock Out ends up in the show as well.

 

I'm glad to see so many other people saying this, too. I'm not crazy.

Looks like new stories, characters and a good helping of fun, and that's the most important thing.  

But I wanna see MORE! Dinobot! Femme! New Decepticons!

Sideswipe looks so bland and similar to Bumblebee.

Should've had some Movie inspirations on him. Swords, wheel feet, something.

 

I doubt that Knockout becomes Sideswipe because Sideswipe is someone who's a rebel thus not likely caring for his looks all that much while Knockout on the other hand wouldn't dream of being careless of his looks either as an Autobot or a Decepticon.

 

Sideswipe looks like he could be Knockout's boy toy.  

This new series has me interested. Fixit's just straight up weird, though.

Story sounds awesome! Designs, eh. Not feeling them much, maybe I'll like them eventually. TF: Prime had great designs, so hopefully they trend more towards them.

 

Of course remember how much people freaked over the Animated initial pic. Now Animated is considered one of the best series of TF

 

I hope Starscream ends up being the leader, Season 1 Starscream before the writers decided they hated him. I'd love to see tarantulas or rampage in the show (any bw character would be appreciated). Demolisher would also be awesome. I'm more interested about the potential deceptions than anything

 

We need a Con combiner this time.

These look really stupid. Why do they have to insult the fanbase with 3 year old designs? You can go for great animation designs, in-depth stories, etc and it can still also be a kids' show. Man what a step back...........

 

TF: Prime was great, but needed combiners. They even mentioned the Constructions! Good to have Sideswipe back as well!
