I just hate that he doesn't have a helmet head.

 

His toys r us Takara exclusive will. Just like their exclusive evasion OP is more screen accurate.

 

Hopefully some third party will handle that, along with his hook hand and sword.

 

Lockdown looks great and these paint jobs (especially of Leader Grimlock) are just MMMMMM.

 

Can anyone tell if Lockdown's chest is faux car front/headlights or real kibble?

 

Sure they give him a helmet head for Flip and change and One step, but not Deluxe?

 

even if the stock figure can't do the gunface i can't be the only guy anticipating a third party add on kit with hook hand, that visor/helmet, and either a new head or some kind of harness to make the gunface work

 

The headlights appear to be real.

 

I like the toys but I just wish they took out the gap in Grimlock's dino mode on his torso so that it will be more close, but overall the figures are awesome best one has to be Lockdown.

 

Yea, I know. I misspoke. I meant the more orange color schemed Grimmy. :/

 

My only gripe with Lockdown is that he seems to be missing his shoulder spikes

 

Perhaps there is a way to do both?

The gun have a gap in the middle that looks like it is design for the face gun effect.

The two colours/materials on the gun make me thing that there will be some kind of gimmick to look like that famous trailer scene.

Lockdown looks amazing, probably one of the best looking deluxes yet.

Though I must admit that I'm really glad I didn't get to preorder that Grimlock, for $80 less I think I'll stick with the one I painted myself  

 

I don't find Grimlock all that impressive, just different.

 

Dinobots are nice, but not different enough for me.

Lockdown looks much, much nicer.

Hound and Galvatron are minor improvements. Cool.

Black Knight Grimlock is a nice deco, but NOPE to the leader mold. Call me when we get this deco on the voyager.

Disappointed that Drift is still bright blue and not the much darker color he is in the film. Oh well, maybe that will be a release later.

This is almost starting to feel like the 07 movie where we got premium, screen-accurate decos later while the initial offerings were hit or miss.

 

Looking at Lockdown's gun, it's pretty obviously fits over his head.

I'm thinking Lockdown is the reason Drift is blue. Hasbro probably didn't want a black car on both sides.

 

Looking at the pictures of deluxe Lockdown, I am wondering if he actually has some hook flip out gimmick. If you look carefully on his arm, there is some piece chrome plastic in there that sticks out from the arm's original coloring. I could be wrong though, just wondering is that his hook?

 

Lockdown sure was a grand slam, wasn't he?

 

All I want is a second Helmet head.
