You're the exception, not the rule. I never saw him once. Even though I did see MP-10 on one occasion.

 

I think it just depends on your area? I live in the northeast, and i remember seeing mp soundwave all over the place.

 

I found Soundwave a few times myself.

 

I have seen both MP Optimus and MP Soundwave on more than one occasion each, but have yet to see MP Grimlock.
Heck, I've been to three different TRUs and have yet to see even a shelf tag for him.

 

It was after all the hub-bub died down, but I ended up seeing several down here in Cool Springs.

 

I never saw a Soundwave in the wild, per se. The one manager at TRU saved one for me.

HOWEVER... we had nearly three days of him being available on TRU.com in stock. Anyone that really wanted one had plenty of opportunity.

 

I saw him a couple of times(SW), even returned one as I was gonna try to help a couple of people out who couldn't fine one. Sad part, a year later I ran into a friend of mine that passed on him and now wants one...And OP, I walked into one store, and they had like 20+ in stock...however they were at the $130 something mark up. Simple solution, purchase and return for the difference at another location (saved me almost $40 with coupon).

Don't need a Grimlock, and really don't need Prowl, as I have Takara, and there doesn't seem to be any difference. After seeing Sunstorm, now I want the Takara release. But I'm sure he will be no problem to find (TRU version). Really wish they would release SS and SW and move on to the coneheads.

 

MP Grimlock is back on the website for the ship to home option. Not sure how long he will last this time though.

Got one too. I think it's a great price for this MP. Glad I didn't pay $200 for the Takara re-issue earlier this year.
