Nautilator, the guy who sounds like Megatron was shot in the head by Whirl, he's probably dead I don't think he shows up here. Snap Trap, the leader of the Seacons, was the one who was stabbed in the face by Drift, he however survived and was seen in the brig (with a stab wound in his face) in issue 16. Also, yes! Finally! The fact that the Lost Light brig was seemingly ignored during the Dark Cybertron Autobot/Decepticon alliance was one of the things that really pissed me off about the whole crossover. I am so psyched to see them free and doing things again. I wonder if any of the Cons in the stands will join in the fight, or if they don't, I wonder if Snap Trap or Hun-Grrr will call them all traitors or freak out at them or something. Also the fact that someone finally pointed out how ridiculous it was to let Prime be the judge of this trial makes me happy. I wonder if Megatron actually had the Seacons/Terrorcons storm the trial, only so that he could put them down and show the NAILs that he's really a good guy now.
My favorite part is how Magnus and Prime handle the Decepticons suddenly storming in. It's not the fact that they handle the entire situation professionally-- they've been doing this for a long time now, so no surprise there-- but Magnus openly asks permission to start kicking some ass, and Optimus is all like "yeah sure go ahead' before diving into the fray himself.
Yeah, Prime sitting in judgement of Megatron has seemed kind of silly, glad it was called out. Prowl's face. Looks like he's about to go full-Lemongrab, haha. And I like how Starscream already looks like he's trying to think of ways they can spin it. I'd been wondering about the 'Cons in the brig for a while now, kind of surprised they weren't mentioned even in passing somewhere during Dark Cybertron. I guess the LL also confiscated the 'Cons ship back in #12 seeing as the one they drop into the trial with is all Seacon-y colours. I assume they were still locked up on the Lost Light and somehow escape just before this. Someone done goofed. "I'm sorry Seawing. It was a nice gesture" I get the idea Megatron's not going to do anything and let it all play out. If he tries to intervene, it could be construed as trying to escape. These particular 'Cons might not even know about Megs changing sides or willingly standing trial. As far as they're concerned – potentially, that is – their glorious leader has been captured and they've staged a daring prison-break just to save him. If that's the case, man are the gonna be disappointed. Oh. And MAGNUS HAMMER, FUCK YEAH! As ever, I am excite.
Nope, as many people have said previously, the "repaint" was Blip who was a "repaint" of Blot- a Terrorcon. Snaptrap had his face sliced but was seen to have survived in MTMTE #16. Nautilator was the only other Seacon we saw killed and he is not present in the scene here. There's nothing wrong with the scene that we've seen.
Good to see it was only a flesh wound then. I've always liked the Seacons and to be honest I was a little disappointed that they had apparently been bumped off so early. Glad I was wrong there.
Ah, that's better! Magnus's hammer makes more sense seeing the pages properly, didn't realise he got it from one of the statues.
C'mon Meg's don't do anything bad to Seawing or the other Seacons, they never get enough love. Well except for the BBTS exclusive reissue, but we were waiting like crazy, hoping that it would happen... Uh getting back on track, besides it really is sorta sweet how they think they are saving Megatron from a sham trial. And how he is totally on the verge of turning it around with LAW! right when they broke in. Now if you'll excuse me I must bask in Prowl's expression.
