Primal was already engineered way better than most Beast Wars toys. With built in arm cannon, mace, swords and rockets what do you all want?

 

Now, this is what I think of when I think of a 30th Anniversary line. "Thrilling 30" my ass! Not so thrilling when half of it is shitty repaints of crappy movie figures and a quarter of it is Asian market rereleases of the other quarter, which are equally expensive and hard to find SDCC exclusives.

Unfortunately I don't see myself picking up either of these. The Rattrap, though more robot accurate, I think I prefer the Hasbro beast mode accurate one. And the Optimus is basically just a repaint of the 10th Anniversary remold of the original, which I already own both versions of. Would have preferred a new mold.

But I really hope they continue this trend and do more Beasties.

 

I missed out on that Primal remold the first time around, glad I'll be able to get him without paying those crazy after market prices. Hope they plan to do that golden disk remold of Megatron too.

 

Better show accuracyin bot mode, better looking beast mode (my biggest complaint about the current figure is that I don't think his beast mode looks to good/ realistic), show accurate thrusters, better scaling in bot mode to the current BW figures

 

Either less likely or 5 years later like with Generations Springer.

 

Chances of henkei Dinobot re-release increasing...

That ultra class Primal is totally out of scale. I'm sticking with my Telemocha version. Rattrap I may just preorder.

 

Ultra Primal was a figure I always wanted growing up on Beast Wars, but never got. This is a reminder for me, I guess I'll have to buy it now.  

 

I did not say it's a bad mold.
Just curious about what they could do for the character with today's engineering. Maybe they can finally make the ape mode stand properly.

 

I'll stick with my Telmocha Primal.

I've been looking for this mold for Optimus on ebay with no luck. This is what I need. A re-release of Armada Leader Optimus would be appreciated too.

 

I'm excited. I'm gonna assume we're gonna get Arcee, Chromia, and Windblade in this line. >.>

 

Since they’ll be cranking out some Beast Wars figures I have my fingers crossed for:

- X-9 Jaguar
- Burning Convoy (Using the newly sculpted parts)
- Lio Convoy (in more cartoon accurate colors with yellow plastic instead of gold)

Hmm, guess he does have red eyes - in robot mode. Still pretty nasty and disturbing looking, and ruins the rat mode. Oh well.

 

What would you want changed? 'casue there is NO WAY a TT re-release of that toy would be any cheaper than the average secondary market price,

 

I still can't figure out why Rattrap's bombs and guns are clear, II guess some other part of him has to be clear on the sprue or they made his gun on a car sprue of another toy for some reason.

I figured Takara would color the thing.

 

I hope we can see a re-release of Henkei Dinobot in this new line.

 

Not interested in Beast Wars unless it's Blackarachnia, Buzzsaw or Inferno. But I can't wait to see what other characters they have planned.
