...And some of us are both toon accurate and original packaging art fans. Imagine that!  


I'm having a hard time believing this has suddenly been put back to next year; hopefully it's just a placeholder date until the actual release date gets sorted. It's gotta be a no-brainer to release this book for the 30th anniversary.

As it stands, I haven't received any email update since the last July one. We'll see if next week brings a '2015' email...

I suppose they figured with all the Xbox One and PS4 game delays they can do it to. /sarcasm

 

Apparently the freight company that was shipping the books from China have said the freight container was accidentally dropped into the harbor and is unrecoverable. However there is good news as the crane operator admitted the problem was because he was looking through the book. He had stated that it was a very good book.  

This is a joke in reference to a third party original toy loss.

 

I gonna get that book!

Calm down. I love it all, G1 cartoon, toys, comics, movie, and media art. There are plenty of other fans who feel the same way. I can't wait to tear into this book whenever it's ready.

No... I asked you what amazon has to do with the delay. They don't have anything to do with it. Amazon isn't a publisher. They're just a seller. The only thing amazon could possibly have done is post the wrong date.

What "kid" are you talking about? I'm pushing 40 right now.

 

I asked IDW themselves (see post #99). They don't even have a date...period.

Diamond's date is now 12/31/2014.

Odds based on previous releases are it'll be release way past Jan 2015.

Some publicity stunt by fanstoys in reference to their figure glacierbot. I don't remember too many details or what was entailed. Hopefully a third party follower can answer in more detail otherwise you can try your luck with google (I have failed ). It was a hilarious story but I can't find the "letter" from the shipping company to fanstoys anymore.

 

I'm so fed up with the delay that I cancelled my preorder, but it's still under my wishlist just in case...
