Well, we had our suspicions that Jagex was just making names up for a bit, but this confirms it. "Swagger". "SWAGGER". WHO THE HELL NAMES A ROBOT "SWAGGER?" And don't get me started on the lack of creativity in coming up with the name "Cameo." (At least Contagion looks cool...)
Transforms into a pickup truck. Looks basically the same as Airachnid (a helicopter), who looks basically the same as Arcee (a motorcycle). Yeah.......... For a game that has a surfer minivan robot, the designs are incredibly forgettable.

Havent been really watching this as I dont play games, but is there going to be any pre-existing bots in this? Not really getting ALL NEW CAST kind of thing, especially if there is no familiar faces

I wish perhaps they had waited for this game to exist before killing the Prime cartoon and then used them in the show. More characters=better IMO
What a scoop with these names and pictures! Nice going to whoever found them! I'm not understanding the hate for the name "Swagger", it's one of the better names they've used... If his personality is that of someone arrogant or confident, then it'll fit perfectly. Cameo and Outsider... Not so much, but I've loved the look of the fembot character since I first saw it, and Outsider being a camper fan is pretty cool Cons are pretty awesome, they definitely steal the show... Contagion's vehicle mode is super sweet. Just a shame Firebreaker is just another generic sports car. Bots and Cons from the Prime show will be featured as NPC's most likely, but the playable characters as of right now are all original.
Yeah, Contagion and Outsider stole the show here. Swagger is a Wave 2 bot. There are four others: Two more motorbikes (working names Stiletto and Riot), an SUV (Decepticon, working name Tomb), and an Earthmover (Autobot, working name Roadblock) There's a group on the TF:U site trolling, using the fishing term of it, for 'bot and 'con images.
But "Brawl" at least sounds exciting. Try saying it out loud. "Brawl." Maybe it's just the emphasis on the "AW" part, but it gives off a far more impressive feel than... y'know... "Swagger." It certainly doesn't help that "Swagger" is a word that every tool ever uses (mostly out of context in the abbreviated form of "Swag".) And "Cameo" means the brief but inconsequential appearance of a known character in a work of fiction. It's... not a very exciting word.
There's going to be a series 2 'con named Railgun, I'm pretty sure. IIRC he uses a minigun, he might've been renamed to Shellshock. I remember seeing him around the same time as Tomb.
The names are really hit-or-miss with this game. Those designs are awesome though. At first I was mostly indifferent about the designs but they are getting pretty cool. Y'know, I used to mistake your avatar for Prime Soundwave (before I payed more attention to IDW). Also these aren't toys...

We've got names the like of Kup, Springer, Whirl, Scoop, Wheelie, Mudflap... Transformer names are often just words used in casual conversation.
