Play free just farm the cards they give as point rewards each episode so you have a strong deck farm again for cubes and recharges and wait for events that have character you actually like to spend those farmed resources/this week they are giving sun streaker start with him he is quite powerfull

 

How do I "farm" cards and items?

 

In the current event, play through the missions until you can no longer one-cube the bosses...then just keep replaying the highest level that you can one-cube your way through. Early fights should give you at least one battle cube as a reward, so you can "infini-play." Do this for hours on end. Or until you get bored.

Most battles will give you a gold episode reward medallion. Cash those in at the Space Bridge. Then either use them to level up your strongest cards, or trade them in for credits.

Do this for your weapons as well.

But like everyone is saying DO NOT PAY for this game. It really isn't worth it. All of your top cards will get replaced every couple of weeks anyway, so you are really just paying money for pictures of Transformers whose stats will become obsolete.

But also, make sure to log in every day for your free log in bonuses. In a couple of months you will have a deck of maxxed out Reflectors and be able to compete for the better cards.

There's no way to find them through the ally invite area, unfortunately. The only way currently to find a specific player is to find out where he/she is either on the Deck Power leader board or the current event leader board. Once your friend has told you where they are you may have a bit of "scrolling" through pages if they are not close to you in rank. Once you find them on the leader board you can tap their name that will bring you to their profile. You can request an alliance from there.

 

I guess I'm not understanding exactly. The Box Trap campaign episodes? What bosses? (Like Buzzsaw?)

I guess the problem I'm having is that I keep running out of energon when I'm scanning in the missions. I can't even finish them in one go.

 

So is Buzzsaw any good? Should I bother Energon Chaining them? Or just focus on Ratbat?

Doesn't really work that way. Each person's friend code can only be used once. Mobage set it up in such a way that the only way you could really get any of the reward cards for the friend code was a kind of work-around that they have since made impossible.

 

Yes you can have the rewards by adding friends, only with this conditions:
1) Only "new" players below level 8 can be counted as "friends" so to speak is a valid one. You can add players above level 8 but will not be counted.

Tip #1: If you are really eager to get complete Skylinx (RMC + AMC + weapon)
you need to do it yourself, and do not depend on others.
This means you need to create at least "15" new accounts, and all of this, you add your main account friendcode. Play each account until it reaches level 8, in that way you can complete all the needed number of friends to get the reward.

Yeah, that's the way you used to be able to do it. But they've kind of closed off that option, at least on ios.

If you ask me, I would go for Ratbat since stat is higher.
Buzzsaw is just a R4 card, not worth using chain unless you are a diehard fan.

 

The only way I know in ios is to uninstall the game, download & reinstall the game. Then login with new user detail

 

Now that anyone who can reach 2 million points gets a great card, who cares about allies. Unless you're fresh from the install, Allies and Sky Lynx are nothing.

 

Allies and Skylinx can be a boost for new players, if they start from scratch few months ago. But with todays events, week after week of power creep, they can easily put up 9 new R5 deck, like in raid events.
All my hard earned T1 rewards (Unicron, Optimus Primal, Coronation Starcsream, Galvatron (PVP), Overlord, and laserbeak) are just sitting at my base, obsolete, and all replaced by Moonracer.

 

Man, I have no had the free time to play this thing through. I actually might not even manage to complete a Frenzy...or is that Rumble in this game?

Yeah, by boss I mean the enemy at the end of a mission. Once you stop being able to one-cube them, you might start taking a loss on energon to beat them and you won't be able to play infinitely. (But most bosses give multiple cubes as a reward, so you'll actually start "farming" cubes if you spend less than you get back--hence the one-cube guideline.)

The game format changes about each week, so the rules will be different later if you are still playing.

 

Manage to net capture 1 frenzy in H10 after all this while.
I think the capture rate is 5% only on H10.
Nevertheless I am hitting 3k rubies soon...

On next raid, I will farm as much energon as I can ...

 

I think the chance of success varies greatly depending on some mad Mobage criteria. There used to be events (loooong aog, mind you) when I could net three hard 10 bosses during the event and then there came those events when I did not capture anything. Well maybe an easy or medium difficulty boss card if Mobalord was generous.

The last time I captured hard boss whas Evo Motormaster. It took me 75 runs on hard10 MM to capture one single MM card (so did stk2005 from our boards). Since then I totally gave up. The chance is absolutely ridiculously low.
It's paid chain or nothing.

 

Luckily, I captured two Frenzys in H10 today with Engergon Nets and am now above rank 500. Now I just have to keep my rank up. I love Soundwave, so all the prize cards are amazing.
