    They may have been on their way since Optimus's very first message at the end of the first movie, but they might just have been on the other side of space, further away than Sideswipe and co.

    I thought we all decided to just ignore this problem when the second film came out? Seriously though it'll probably be explained in the comic books like with the last two films.

    I just assumed they were prisoners on Lockdowns ship and are freed when Optimus is. Hopefully it's explained in the movie as well as what happened to the others from the previous movie.

    Although it seems Ratchets fate is already known. :cry
