These things need to be the next GDO line instead of some sickeningly expensive exclusives.

 

Man I'm hoping that they do all of them.....especially those omnibots

Silverbolt's the best of the bunch... though admittedly, he does need a wolf head in place of the current one to really nail the retool down.

Alpha Trion from Scourge works too... so I'd be for either one of those two if I could cast a vote.

 

My vote goes to Goshooter all the way. I just think he LOOKS the best. And hopefully a third party would make a headmaster partner for him.

 

Most of the choices (except for The Fallen) look pretty good.

Man, what I wouldn't do for an Omnibots 3-pack.

And before you say that this was an expensive Botcon exclusive... The one they're proposing would be an expensive magazine exclusive. At least the Botcon one has a new head.

 

I spotted that it state GoShooter from Generations Nightbeat (which I have no problem with) but the pictured shown is that of a repainted Generations Bumblebee.

 

All I want are Omnibots. That's all.

The manga depicts him with the Nightbeat head and the description for the figure notes it would use the Nightbeat head. The reason why that head isn't shown in the mockup is because all the mockups use standard publicity photos of the original versions of each figure. So since there isn't a TakaraTomy Nightbeat (and I doubt there will be) they had to use a photo of Bumblebee Goldbug, Takara's version of the IDW Bumblebee figure.

yeah i just noticed that he still has the scourge head. Im aware of the botcon exclusive, but having a new head doesnt make him a $400 figure (at least thats what people are asking on ebay) this one wont be as expensive, hopefully..

 

Ah.. I didn't realize he went up in price that much. I got him and Weirdwolf together for $89...

 

I don't know if it's SG collectors due to its retroactive inclusion into that storyline, general rarity + demand or other stuff (or a combination of all of the above), but he's one of the Botcon toys that have shot up to a higher price in recent years. Darksyde Megs, the '06 set and some of the SG toys are more known for their high prices, but Alpha's up there too from what I've seen.

 

They all have old heads. Go Shuta has the Bumblebee head and I don't think they would do them this way. That would be stupid repaints.

I hope we get Go Shuta anyway. I want Nightbeat and him both from Takara *.*

 

I need a Hasbro version of Alpha Trion. Just a toy that I can play with my son. I'll take a good looking voyager size. I'm cool with that.
