I loved Beast Machines, it was like a grown up version of Beast Wars. Still to this day the entire "Beast" era was the best time for transformers to this date for both toys and TV. There was a stronger verity of figures and characters than any other Transformers line. The secret was there was a character for everyone.

I really do hope that after this film from M Bay Hasbro remembers how fruitful the Beast Wars was and takes a break from the cars and revamps and revitalizes the Maximals and the Predicons. Beast Wars Film Series would be AWESOME!

Until then...as I posted before; Netflix, get this final installment of the Beast saga streaming!!!!!!!

Now all we need is for Hasbro to rescue Robots in Disguise from the evil clutches of Disney.

I'm glad this is getting released again as I don't have it and I've never found it for a reasonable price. I loved the whole "Beast" era.

    This!

I'm not sure I can commit to a purchase when the reviews on here are so hit-or-miss. Plus, WTF did they do to Rattrap??? :banghead:

I really grew to like this show but man did i hate it when it premired on TV. It wasnt until Jetstorm showed up that I gave it some slack. I hated the ending because it left too much open at the end IMO. I really wish they had done Transtech or would do a real Trans Tech comic showing what happen after the reformat.

The ending did really feel like a middle beat to a bigger story. I wish they had done TransTech because so much had been set up for things to come and then it was just left hanging.

To those saying they don't know if they should watch this or not, I have to say give it a chance. I was one of those who wrote it off when I saw the designs and the first couple episodes. I hated what they had done to the Beast Wars. Then I decided I would watch a it again with an open mind and have to say it is a very logical step from Beast Wars and the story is very cleaver.

I've seen used copies as low as $10, its nto that expensive, and I believe in the UK and some Asian markets it has already been released on BRD. Unfortunatrly I dont know if/when Sony's rights expire.

Like I said earlier. I think it would be easier for S!F to work with hasbro & takar to release the Japanese series BWII & BW Neo as they did Headmasters etc... Getting RiD from Disney could be problematic.

Awesome! I'm glad that people will be able to watch this series. I went through bw and BM back to back not having watched any of the beast era shows when they first aired. (I found girls by that time) Theyre fantastic. I highly reccomend both series.

I had mixed feelings with BM but after AEC, BM seemed way better.

    Any idea for the price?

Yeah, that's the thing, they could've lost the files in a hard drive crash or poor media management. Also outdated software. At my job we've run into the "Program cannot read outdated software formats" (to paraphrase) errors before.

    Aw shucks ;P

Fun fact: I chose this username before I even saw an episode of Beast Machines with him in it, back when I would just read episode synopses on bwtf, the name just popped into my head when I was making a username... YEARS ago o_O  Lucky for me when I got the Rhino set and finally watched it I liked the character a LOT :lol

Anyway, I wonder if this'll have any new bonus features or any incentives to buying this again since I already have the Rhino set. I'll probably end up getting it because A) it'll probably be in a nice small regular-sized DVD case and I'm always trying to free up shelf space, plus it'll be nice for uniformity and B ) I'm more than happy to support Shout! Factory... they put most of my favorite Nicktoons out on DVD (only missing Doug and Rugrats), and gave us awesome releases of G1 and Beast Wars and soon to be Animated.
