I didn't realize the interest in the Evo Strafe. I saw him yesterday at the TRU on Alexis in Toledo. There were around 5 of them.

Picked up Drift and Slash at Chapel Hill Target. They had one each left, as well as two Strafes.

TRU was also setting up their big front display of AoE when I got there. Nothing new to report yet.

Would you be willing to go back and grab those Drift and Slash figures? I'll reimburse you and then some.

I'm probably gonna be in the area again this week. I'll keep you guys in mind. Don't think there's anything else out at the moment I'm gonna need so I'll definitely grab these if I see them.

I did a little bit of searching out of my usual area since I happen to be in Boardman this evening.

First off, the Toys-R-Us here had a very interesting find for me. Remember those TF Mighty Muggs? They had a 1st trilogy Optimus Prime one. No price tag or anything. I went to scan it and it came up as $0.30! The box was in perfect condition and so was the figure. Bought on sight so he can sit next to my G1 Optimus Mighty Mugg. Other than that, there wasn't anything of interest there other than a truckload of YOTH Starscreams... By the way the feaure display for TF was awesome.

Then I went over to Target, they're currently in the middle of remodeling the store into one of those Super Targets. Nothing there of interest, either.

Kenwood TRU is fully-stocked with the exclusive two-packs (Slag, Swoop, and Grimlock), we finally got the Leader-class figures in, and re-stocked the first wave of Voyagers.

we also got that neat Kre-O Grimlock set... the Grimlock Kreon alone looks worth the price.

no Wave 2s, and no MPs. and no regular deluxes either, just the two-packs.

Funny you should ask this. I found Drift and Slash at Willoughby today. Scorn is a definite must, Slug's okay, Slash is my favorite so far. I'm one of the only people who seems to like it, though. I'd recommend Scorn and Slash for sure, followed by Strafe (who is quite nice) and then Slug.

Slug's not a terrible figure, he's even a bit likeable, but he has one of those "move this and that to get to those" kind of transformations. Normally those aren't terrible, but his front beast legs get jammed up by the robot arms/ribcage.

Strafe's pretty nice, actually, but his transformation is way too simple. He has gorilla arm syndrome, but his wrists swivel so he can hold his swords like a boss.

Scorn is just solid. Even with the jousting arm, he's a bad ass. A nicely balanced transformation that's just right.

Slash is probably the most complex of them all, and he suffers from gorilla arm syndrome as well, plus he can be difficult to stand. Several reports of loose hips and even one with a broken ball joint cup. However, if you get one that's not loose or broken, he's pretty solid, but he does have a lot of kibble/armor on his shoulders. Oh, and his weapons are rubber. They are not long for this world, I fear. I just leave them in the arms as feathers, because he has forearm mounted claws to use as weapons.

I have no buyer's remorse with any of them, however. Some just have stronger designs than the others.

In C-Bus, the TRU on Sawmill has evolution's in. 2 Strafe, 6 Slug, and 7 Grimmy's. No MP Grimlocks though. This is as of 2:30pm today.

    My order of likability:

    1. Leader Grimlock - easily my favorite - I love this guy! The reviews don't do this justice. Bonus: I lucked out and got him for the Amazon $27 price. 10/10
    2. Scorn - I'd get this guy first - if you don't like this one, then pass on the rest. 9/10
    3. Strafe - I like this way more than I thought I would. Huge wingspan. 6.5/10
    4. Slug - he's alright - nothing special but nothing really bad either. 6/10

TBD - Slash - don't have him yet, but I'm not digging the pictures I see of this guy. I might pass on him.

If I had to do it over again, I'd probably only buy Grimlock & Scorn. Strafe and Slug are cool, but they aren't special.

Like I said earlier, I'd try Scorn first. He's been pretty well received by most Transformers fans. Plus he's a deluxe and not a Leader - if you don't like him, it won't hurt the wallet as much. If you don't like Scorn, I wouldn't bother getting any of the other Dinobots.

P.S. - Just remember - there is no "The Earth" to sell your toys to anymore! :D

Arlington Target surprisingly had something new. Three each of Tailgate and Skrapnel. Nothing new AoE wise but I was shocked to see them show up so soon.
