Okay, we're all gearing up for Transformers 4. I personally think Michael Bay's Transformers movies are pretty bad, for many reasons. Please tell me if you think the same, and list your reasons. List as many possible.

"Bad" is such a loaded term. Your definition of bad might not be mine, or others.

People are just extremely jaded nowadays. The movies might have some bad aspects, but they are far from horrible.

Pootie Tang is a horrible movie.

No they are not terrible. They're just not very good even if they try so hard to be good. They almost try too hard.

Ha, I was about to copy links to about 10 infamous threads about why bay's TF movies are good/bad whatever, but then I thought f**k it, you should have done that already, before you opened this thread! Ah well, good luck!

Bay movies are not bad, but what I miss is the POV of the Transformers themselves rather than the humans. Hollywood tends to be human-centered, and hates machines.

 

Meh. They're good for mindless entertainment and chomping popcorn.

 

If I'm bored I might as well sit down for a movie.

The Bay movies are far from perfect but they are fun to watch, I enjoy them more than I should. The movies aren't horrible but they aren't the best either because they have quite a few errors and mistakes and conflicting plots, but I loved them.
