If the scene from the trailer where they all but ratchet stand together is the end scene, then drift stays a bot at the end of the movie
No. You can't tell really anything about it, other than that it's a helicopter. Could be a TF or could be a normal copter. No way to tell until the movie.

Sure, but no one knows if that is the end scene or not. I'd think the city would look messed up in the background. And maybe drift does stay a bot but if he is a true con and I do mean if, he may not even reveal it in this movie lol.
Tucci is there as well, or did i hallucinate? I would just love if Lockdown is actually after Drift, but finds out that there is a bigger price on Prime. And that there is no Quints or Unicron as boss behind the scenes, but it ends up with Scorponok or Thunderwing Then when Lockdown fails the Con behind the scene sends extinction at the end credits, Sixshot Imagine the fans screaming in another lost expectation.
I know its a shitty twist given my prior theory of the Quintessons... however what if; Drift hired Lockdown? Drift could still be the mystery villain that way and still appear in the rumoured end scene. Perhaps his traitorous nature is revealed in another film or after the ending as a post-credit stinger for the next film?
for all anybody knows, the helicopter is just a government helicopter used by the dudes hunting the transformers.
Once again, why do people think Drift is going to turn from Decepticon to Autobot to Decepticon? If that were the case, why make him a Decepticon in the first place? Its just unnecessarily convoluted.
We are just having fun speculating. I for one think it would be very cool if he is always a Con and tells the Bots he was once a Con and now has joined the Bots to atone for his past, and later reveals he was lying and never stopped being a Con. I never really cared for Drift at all and always thought his character was cheap and not needed. So I really want him to turn out to be a Con so he can be killed off and we get rid of him lol
Yeah Tucci is there. That still does not mean its the end scene does it? What I mean is, Tucci's character obviously joins the human and Bots before the end of the movie. This could be the first major scene after they get to Hong Kong and before the major end battle.
I don't even think he's Drift. I think he's Bludgeon. Drift may have had swords but he never had that pronounced of a samurai appearance. I know that doesn't count for much since this is not G1, but an evil skull faced samurai decepticon is SO the kind of thing Bay would go for. People keep speculating on it because the details about him don't match up. He appears to be wearing a mask full-time (there is no footage of him in any medium, game or movie, where his face moves, for example), there's been toys of him with the Con symbol, he's also apparently a helicopter, etc. So yeah. There's a lot to indicate that there's something we don't know about Drift. And everything in the movie points to something more than Lockdown - why do the autobots need 7 massive dinobots for the end battle?
What if the pop toy "mystery villain" is not drift but a transformer with the same samurai helmet like a relative or friend of drift. It could be drift's mentor from ages ago or a sibling of his as they were both once helicopters until drift became a bot. Most likely not but I am just trying to make sense of the helicopter.
This! Another thing that gives me a Bludgeon vibe, is that all his early concept art has him in colors that really resemble classic Bludgeon. He may not be him, but sure gives me a Bludgeon-like vibe too.
Another possibility is that Bludgeon WAS Drift's mentor and he's posing as him. Maybe real-Drift shows up late in the film, as a helicopter? Or something? Basically, we don't know. But like Tonyformer said....I get a big Bludgeon-vibe from him.
It may not be. But if it did turn out to be Bludgeon, than Lockdown's ship could really be Bludgeon's "Warworld". I know its reaching. But I guess I'm just hoping for more Cons lol. Besides, like I said, I personally do not like Drift and never have. But if he was Bludgeon in disguise, I'd be all for it!
I'm questioning whether or not that is the ending scene. I remember a certain set photo (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...4-hong-kong-filming-updates-10-17-13-a-7.html) which looked like Spoiler Stanley Tucci's character dies . If that's true, there's no way he could be with the other characters at the end.
