It's not what I expected. It starts off slow, then kicks into a pounding beat, repeating the same lyric over and over...

I would call it just okay.

Soundwave likes all superior music! :)

Anyway, I'm actually surprised this song has gotten such mediocre reaction. I for one love the fusion of calm, then loud, then calm again. Very strong.

I saw this on here yesterday afternoon, but didn't actually listen to it until night, because I was going off with some friends, and I didn't want to be rushed, given how excited I've been to hear it. I did read through a few of the first comments, so maybe at the end of the day, my expectations were lower than other people. I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome it was though. Now I'll have to listen to more Imagine Dragons, I'm fairly new to their band.

My favorite part is the beginning. I have a thing for piano and spooky "ooh"ing in the background of songs, lol.
Of course the percussion is pretty kickass, too.

I just heard the music now... man, I lost count of the times I already heard it!

man, NOW I am starting to feel more and more enthusiastic with the arrival in the movie, thanks to this song!

It's ok. I love Imagine Dragons, but I like Linkin Park's songs for the past 3 films better.

For some reason the fact that the song releases early in the google play music spain doesn´t suprise me...
Well, good news, i can add the song to my playlist beacause i downloaded the song yesterday, but i want to support the legal music (and the first link to download the song was a spanish page too, i feel bad for that...)

The song could benefit from it being condensed a bit.

Bit of a disappointing song. The chorus part is good enough but all the rest is quite plain.
This is frankly way far from the Iridescent song. A new opportunity to Linkin Park (which are not a personal favourite of mine) should have been given. But it seems the "reboot" also included the band for the main song. :p

I don't think I'll listen it until the movie comes out. It started giving me a headache.

It wasn't what I expected. I thought it was going to have a lot more fast pace parts too it, rather than slowly progress to the bits we've been hearing in the trailers. Non the less it's a brilliant song for what already seems to be a brilliant movie!

    On a serious note I must say this song is much more suited to AOE than any of the Linkin Park songs we've gotten for the previous 3 films. From what we know about AOE I can already feel that this song portrays the feelings and emotions of the Autobots. I never felt the same with the story - song relationship, if you will, with;

    "What I've done" - TF '07
    "New divided" - ROTF
    "Iridescent" - DOTM

Although "Iridescent" was aimed at the Chicago battle It still had nothing to grasp me.

So, after seeing several of you guys disapprove of the slow middle section, I dabbled around on my computer for a little while and sought to remedy the problem... with some Attack on Titan.

It would be better if they could of cut out the oooing at the beginning. It takes way too long to get into the song when the first 50 seconds is oooing.

I've listened to it about a dozen times now and I've only had it for a few hours. It's actually a good song, I just don't like when songs take too much time with just instrumentals, especially at the beginning. I understand that theres solos and such, just don't place it at the beginning.

I just heard the whole song, and I do like it. It took a few listenings to to enjoy it, but I do like it. I can see this being used during the dramatic scenes.

I didn't like it. The only good part was the chorus that was revealed in the trailers. It tries too hard to sound dark and foreboding and fails in my opinion. I like to think that it may sound better after more plays but I don't think this will change my opinion, it just feels like two different songs poorly pasted together.

Iridescent got a similar response from me back in 2011 but, I always thought that it fit the tone of the movie as demonstrated by how it was implemented. The song is quite good and the lyrics are quite profound.

New Divide is really good too and knows what song it wants to be from start to finish unlike this song. I hated waiting 2 minutes to get to the good part then just fading off again. I'll give the song another try though because I want to like it.
