Awesome! Glad they still had them. After the first guy got 5, another guy took the last one on the shelf (a guy we know sells at flea markets and on eBay), then put a sheet of paper over it to hide it and asked me if there were more in the back.. Of course I told him no.

 

I'm really close to just giving up on getting this already. Having to show up at store open multiple days is just ridiculous and not feasible.

Grimlock acquired from Gaithersburg. There was 3 more left.

 

Not sure how long they will last. I showed up at the parking lot at 9:55 am. Saw a guy already waiting by the entrance to toys r us. So I got out and waited too.

He hadn't been to that location in a while because he walked to where transformers used to be six months ago. I went to the correct aisle and grabbed the Grimlock with the nicest box.

He showed up to my aisle and I showed him my Grimlock and asked, "you looking for this?" He said, "no, but my friend just bought one, I saw it and it's very nice."

He may have grabbed one, three, or none.

 

Was in the Columbia TRU last night a little before closing and again this morning around 11. No MP Grimlocks, neither space on the shelf or shelf tags. Evolution Slug was out this morning, didn't see it last night. There's also a Doubledealer, and the Rescue Bots dino-mode Heatwave and Blades in the Playskool aisle.

I asked one of guys that works electronics if he could check their inventory. The inventory showed that they did get 4 Grimlocks (2 cases) in yesterday, but that they are no longer available despite not marked as being put out. The computer also lists the "original retail price" as $59.99. The system showed they had ordered 428, which the guy said means they'll probably get in around 60 over time. The closest stores to Columbia with some listed in stock were Annapolis and Clinton.

 

There's a lone, RiD Bulkhead at Columbia Target if anyone feels like buying a mediocre Voyager.

 

Ha. In a lot of ways I like that Bulkhead way more than the FE. Way more fun.

 

The Hagerstown Toys "R" Us got four masterpiece grimlocks in today sold them within 30 minutes of opening, I was told. I asked if they were to going to get any more in they have open orders but the warehouse has zero. Doesn't sound like they're going to get anymore. Hope I'm wrong. I just wanted to get another to have one in Dino mode as I do have the 2010 issue.

 

Got 4 more mp grimlocks at golden ring TRU but manager put them on hold till the 1st when the reset I was talking about happens.. Sorry guys won't be able to hold any of these till then

 

Is there any difference between this MP Grimlock and the last Hasbro MP Grimlock?

 

Been hearing there are some slight differences such as a lighter overall grey plastic and very loose hip joints.

And obviously the box style/deco is different  

 

I'll have to break out MP-8's serving gear and set him up at Swerve's bar.

 

Just left Towson TRU there was 2 MP Grrimlock on the shelf.

 

Despite telling me it was the 1st, golden ring TRU is resetting the transformers on the 2nd.. So one more day before MP grimlocks are released from our hold.

 

Don't ask me why.. Boss changed it again.. Transformers reset will be wednesday

 

Actually, the Frederick TRU told me on Friday they were planning to do it on Monday the 2nd. It might be a man-hours thing with Sunday focused more on sales, etc.
