I'm still missing Shin Getter 1. Every time i go to buy it something else comes up. The price of it is holding steady for the past year. I have all the other versions. The Dragon set is just ridiculous. Black getter repaint is awesome.

I'm a bit miffed that the final battle version is painted the original versions colors. The off white of my repaints isn't the best. I passed on the first versions originally because I was told the didn't have the stands of the repaints.

 

GX 65 came in today. Maybe I should go open it.

 

I'm pretty sure fewture will re-release the getter dragon set in OVA colours; fewture is fond of doing repaints. Fewture has also publicly announced plans for Shin getter 2 and Shin getter 3, hence, it makes sense for them to reissue Shin getter 1 (in regular colours with some minor tweaks, i guess) at some point.

 

Speaking of fewture, where is word on um-01 optimus gokin? Have $230 sunk into that already and having just sold mp-10, I want my ultimate optimus!

 

I finally received Daimos today... Wow! I didn't think I'd be saying this, but he might be my favorite SoC so far. The colors look great on him, and make him stand out from the crowd a bit. I'm glad they went with the anime colors rather that the Godaiken colors. Awesome weapons with this dude. Here's what I was able to accomplish in my first month of 'Gokin collecting:

Got a long way to go, obviously, but I'm feeling pretty good about how fast it's progressing. Still got a lot of Marvel Legends left to sell so I'm not going to be slowing down any time soon. I'm currently bidding on a Voltes V and I'm thinking I might buy a Baikanfu tomorrow, and then I'm just waiting for BBTS to get Daltanious in.

 

Gawd damn dude that's a lot of gokin for one month lol. And you funded these all with marvel legends? Either you had the world's largest legends collection or I had no idea they were that valuable. Congrats on the collection. I'm very jealous. Can't decide what to get next. I feel like it should be daitarn 3 renewal since it's still retail price and the aftermarket prices on older ones tend not to change much.

Somewhat tempted to get general franky onepiece from hlj sale but it's just so goofy and I have no idea what it is. I am Bidding on a gx-45 to see if I can get it for under $70.

 

Figure the legends have been selling for an average of $25. each... That's with some as low as $10. and a few as much as $100... a few quite a bit more than that. Well. between all the Marvel lines I had something like 325 figures... So even though they aren't super expensive or anything on average, just the sheer volume is netting me plenty of cash for Gokin hunting. I have about 100 or so left to sell, so that should be more than enough to get the last six on my list, and then I'll be pretty satisfied.

 

Lots of small transactions is the way to go. Easy to ship too  

I gotta pick up Godmars one of these days.

 

Does anyone have gx-56 zerokage and bakuryu? I watched one review which left me feeling a little 50/50, but I love the look of it and come on... Gokin dragon.

yeah Ideon wasn't on my radar before, but now I am on the lookout for a good deal on one.

Also, someone on the robotjapan boards said that they heard from a retailer (I think) that God Mars is getting a rerelease in September! Hope it's true so it can finally be mine!!!

Mine [on one of the shoulders, can't remember which one] just snapped years ago. It's been literally over 3 years since I last handled mine, can't tell if the damage extended or not. I just used glue.

Any fixes/alternatives?

Geez.... I must be an open book, LOL... You nailed it, 6 for 6. I actually bought a Baikanfu this morning, so down to five, as far as what's been released. I was going to get the Brave Gokin GGG, but then I saw the SoC prototype...so I'll be waiting on that one. I do want a Vehicle Voltron at some point. Some expensive Transformers coming out soon too.. gotta get the Maketoys Computron, Metroplex, and Scorponok. The P E Scorponok, the MP scaled Dinobots, Daca Cronos, the Igear seekers, any official MP's that are coming out, the rest of Feral Rex, Warbotron, and Prometheus... man, talk about an expensive year in collecting.

Well, you mentioned 3 of them and for the rest, I just looked at my display case.  

GGG is modern, but the looks do fit in with the original super robots.

I'd like Bandai to release 10+" Raideen and Danguard.

 

I just read on another board that this photo was taken at the recent Tamashii World Tour in Italia so yup, it's a new photo.  

I can't wait to complete my Grendizer with this.
