This is just a quick mod I did to fix the only problem i have with evasion optimus. The reason that his Windows won't line up in alt mode is because the lower grill can't rotate flush with the rest of the truck. Here's what I did.

    Transformed optimus:

Took a Sharp blade and cut the tabs that stop the lower grill from rotating flush with the truck.

I figured this out over the weekend myself. I was hoping this would also fix the misaligned window frames but nada. Still, it does fix part of the problem so that is nice.

Fix works killer but I'm always hesistant to play around with a knife at a pin point.

Finally, anyone else with stress marks around the hitch halves tabs in alt mode?

Transformed mine multiple times. No alignment issues. I'm wondering If mine has those tabs.

I was going to do this, but thought the upper piece would need modifying, too. I didn't realise that shaving the lower part of the grill would also fix the upper part. Thanks for the info. Now to work on fixing the misaligned windows. Doesn't look TOO hard.

Thanks for the tip. I tried it, but my windshield is still misaligned.

/\Looks like you didn't cut enough out, the front grill is still jutting out a little. The upper grill should sit flush with (or even a little behind) the lower grill.

Did the fix and it fixed my window alignment issues too. They're still off by a hair but this improved it 90% at least.

Same here... Mine sits in there nice, flush and even. Sometimes it takes a second of massaging, but it aligns on mine, just fine. (<--- some Dr. Seuss shit right there :lol )

In fact, I'm thinking the main problem folks are having is with Primes head. If I don't get it in the space JUST the way it's supposed to be, the alignment issue pops up. But when done correctly, everything is lined up nicely.
