Yeah I don't know what his alt-mode is, but I was inspired by the Jet-propelled Train concepts of past. So he transforms into a jet propelled treaded vehicle of some sort I need a name For him as well, so ant help would be appreciated greatly Enjoy:
Ya know, with that helmet-head and the overall aesthetic of the alt-mode, he would make an awesome WWI or WWII era German experimental warship of some kind! Maybe call him Blitzrkieg and have him be Blitzwing's great-grandfather!
I'm not very good with names, but I like the look of that. Looks like it could be an Arctic exploration/research vehicle.

Originally I wanted to do a jet train, I mean I really want to do it, but no good train bots out there to use, so I opted a Jet-treaded thing. that's an original idea. I'll think on that. Thanks! I like this guy. The alt mode looks like a rich family's all terrain recreational vehicle. Super Winnebago 3000. I wouldn't go with the idea of rocket propelled AND treads together because treads aren't generally made to go real fast, and a lot of treads going crazy fast doesnt seem likely. Maybe let the boosters be what they are in bot mode anyway, guns! They are on the front so they'd pass for obstacle clearance cannons, even sonic cannons to remove obstructions without blowing stuff up. With a medical/military paint job, this would make a great rescue or transport vehicle too. Derail seems like a cool name. Or he could be Breacher as a transport with them front cannons and multi treads. You could paint him as a future school bus and call him something like Busstop too.
Hey thanks mate! You make some awesome points Some of which I will totally look into for a future custom. But just because something is jet powered, does not always denote crazy high speed. The design of his alt-mode is of a jet-propelled vehicle. If I were to opt cannons, I would have to swap the jet engines for a pair of actual weapons (something I did not want from the onset of the idea). In transformers, lots of Cybertronian Alt-modes are totally fictitious, but are cool, or silly (depending on tastes), and even Megatron in RotF was a Jet-tank (I need to make a jet-tank), so I can live with this. Thanks always mate. Also, I think DonnieTsunami had the best suggestion of a name with his Jettread... So that works imo best, as it evokes exactly what his characteristics are. Thanks Donnie!
