I think it's time for Rodimus to be inducted, he should be on the automatic list now though so I would go with someone like Nightbeat or Rhinox who have had good portrayal in media but not much exposure in recent years.

My top three picks in no order: Rattrap, Optimus Primal, and Tarantulus.

    Lockdown and Rodimus.

Armada Sideways is another one, but I don't have high hopes anybody else cares about him.

    Prowl was my "1st thought".

But Blackarachnia is a strong suggestion too as would be Rattrap.

Lockdown & Galvatron also makes a certain kind of mad sense considering the year it is and what's in the Movie.

Cheetor, Rhinox & Hotshot will need to go in there sometime too.

I think there might be certain niche choices too like Prime's Shockwave but that Might be to niche perhaps.

But I can see a lot of merit in something like Rhinox, Wheeljack, Rattrap, Lockdown and Galvatron as they speak to the present and the past quite well.

I'd have to say Optimus Primal, Rattrap, Rhinox, Black Arachnia, Rodimus and Prowl all merit strong consideration. Perhaps especially Prowl and Rattrap given that each are very important in current fiction also, and Primal as BW Megs without him just leaves an obvious hole.

Lockdown is a decent shout also.

Oh, and- how could we forget- WHIRL? I mean, after all, the whole war is his fault. Hard to find someone more important than that.

In terms of his sheer importance to the fiction as a whole, Rodimus.

Rodimus, aka Hot Rod, aka Rodimus Major, aka Rodimus Prime, aka Rodimus Convoy, aka not-Optimus, has appeared in many key iterations of the Transformers mythos. Introduced in Transformers the Movie in 1986, he was the one chosen by the Matrix itself to succeed Optimus Prime. As Optimus' successor he provided a character in the cartoon who was more of a flawed hero, one who had to work hard to be the great leader that Optimus was. In the comics, and I'm looking mainly to the UK, he was a no-nonsense leader who did what was necessary to banish the Decepticon threat in the future - however, in this comic timeline, he also had Unicron lurking within the Matrix to contend with, and it is credit to his fortitude that he could hold Unicron at bay when lesser Transformers would surely have fallen.

Rodimus has gone on to appear in many continuities since, with versions of him appearing in the Unicron Trilogy, Animated, War for Cybertron (DS version), Alternators, IDW, and many more. He's a character who threads together many different continuities - so for a 30th anniversary year, I can think of no better character who embodies so many different eras of Transformers by virtue of appearing in most of them.

    Vote Rodimus 2014!

Cyclonus from More Than Meets the Eye. One of the best character developments I've ever seen!
