Anyone else questioning lockdown affiliation??? He could start out a decepticon and then help the autobots defeat the KSI (alliance of interest) just thought? Seems weird that he's got both symbols next to him :/ hmmmm

All this story arc of humans playing with transformers tech creates an unbalance in the universe etc maybe lockdown had different reason for hunting the autobots?? Very confusing now but exciting too!

A lot of the characters look better in blueprint form - Galvatron especially looks amazing here and seems more detailed than in the film. Interesting how he has the KSI logo next to him...

Anyway, get the feeling Optimus will stab him in the reactor though >.>

 

Maybe he's not truly a decepticon and he's simply an unaffiliated bounty hunter. Autobots could hire him if the pay was good.

 

That has pretty much been confirmed through interviews.

Normally they would just lump Lockdown and Galvatron under 'Decepticons' and be done with it, glad that's not the case.

But it wouldn't make sense for Lockdown to become an Autobot since he was owning Optimus and captured him.

 

I wonder where they got the inspiration from.....

 

And I wonder where PR got their inspiration from, as robots/mech suits with chest power cores are a dime a dozen in sci-fi media.

Whatever inspired them, I'm glad it did, because I love the design.

Lockdown's loyalty goes to the highest bidder, regardless of how far along he is in the process of completing a mission

I kid. Seriously though. Thing in the center of the chest isn't exactly uncommon.

 

Maybe these blueprints are from KSI and the reason lockdown has both emblems is because they (KSI) has yet to determinewhat faction he is with.

 

lol yeah Scorpio posted an image list of characters with circular power cores in their chests a while back. Lots of them, as I guess there would be as it's a pretty sweet design.

Sad to see KSI isn't on his blueprint. Guess he either wouldn't work for humans nomatter what, or humans don't have any bargaining power :/

 

Lord knows I'd install a glowing Zero onto my chest if I could.

 

It's not about the robot designs.

It's about this manner of " blue print " presentation.

In PR it makes sense... since the Jaegers are all made made.

Lockdown, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.....don't really fit in this sort of
'blue print' presentation form.

It only fits the supposedly manmade "Transformers"

* Edit.... the scans indicate "KSI" I guess .... at some point KSI "scans" the Transformers into 'blue prints' .....only that way, it would make sense.
