I went into Westport Target today. They were already out of Cosmoses. (Cosmi?) They still had one Swerve when I left. Strangely, the Springhurst Target is out of Legends, so the distribution center should be sending us a case... but they aren't, for whatever reason. (They hate me, is my leading theory.) And Shelbyville TRU had no MP Grimlocks. They did have like six YOTH Starscreams, though, which I found excessive.
Oh hell, really? Dang, I must have gotten lucky... there's a new feeling. Still, I'll check around. I feel kind of bad now Also, picked up Warden from The Zone - after finding it out of box with the card missing behind the stand. Somebody had tried to get into it. Pretty pathetic.
People are stating in other sighting threads that TRU upped the price of MP Grimlock to $79.99. Wow. Glad I had help w finding mine early!

Stopped by Clarksville TRU. Cleaned out of masterpiece grimlock. Also it was at the 79.99 price point
Well, so much for $60 MP Grimlocks. Sounds like it may have been a blunder on their part. Hopefully when we see Prowl it isn't this bad (it will be).
Anybody willing to help me out? I kinda sorta really need that TRU exclusive evolution of strafe 2-pack. My TRU hasn't gotten them in and it won't be in on the next truck. Please? I'm in Lexington if anybody is willing. Thanks in advance.
Out of curiosity, when does Lexington TRU's truck come in? Also, toysrus.com is shipping out Strafe evolution next week. I kinda really want it, too.
Well st matthews had 6 mp grimlocks all sold out before the store opened. I guess it isn't meant to be on grabbing this figure.
He's been available on their website since last night up until just a few hours ago. He sold out now. Most likely won't be back on there anytime soon. They are cancelling some orders. and the link is gone. its rumored there were only 1000 for online orders. Ppl are saying they had 1500 for stores and 1000 for the website. So I guess only 2500 are being made.
I think that's fear-mongering. Those numbers make no sense. It would cost Hasbro so much to make figures at such a tiny amount that they could never make a profit. I've always heard that 10,000 units is the absolute basement as far as a retail-bound figure is concerned. Any less than that and they don't bother. Only the fan club produces figures at drastically lower amounts, and what's the flipside to that? Massively high prices. Think about it: there are roughly 600 Toys-R-Us stores in the U.S. If they only made 1500 for stores, that would mean each store would only get 2.5 Grimlocks. And the St. Matthews TRU got six. One outlet in a mid-size city that has two other outlets with a fourth right over the state line. There're a lot more than 2500 Grimlocks out there.
Stating 2500 for the Intial first stock not the whole entire production number. Should have said made for the initial release. We all know they will get another run of stock at the stores and online in the coming months. But it doesn't cost Hasbro nearly as much to produce them now since already having the mold and him being made before.
