Super nice of you to make this, man. I really love Toxitron, and I always argue that he should appear in comparison images when a new model is made, even though he's a remold, so it's really nice to see people use him for stuff like this. Fanart like this is one of the reasons I love being involved with Vanguard.

...Speaking of loving being involved with Vanguard, I'd like to take a second and actually describe to all you guys why I, personally, am so happy to be part of this.

Well, as corny as it may sound, I'd say I love the ambition behind it all. Always have. Vanguard is a project that, once it's done, will raise the bar for fan-made TF productions, and independent animation as a whole.

In addition to that, something I really appreciate abut Vanguard is the cast. I love how the cast breaks loose from your typical Autobot and Decepticon roster, while at the same time keeping faithful to the structure of the teams that we've been familiar with for decades. Optimus is still there and Bumblebee is still there, but they're different enough to offer a fresh take on Transformers.

Vanguard isn't only exciting and original, it's also special; and that's probably what I like most about it. We take the barrier that exists between the creators of a TF series and the audience and shatter it. If we had worked on Vanguard without any kind of input from fans, the entire point would've been lost, and the project would just be a TF series on a low budget.

That about sums up why I enjoy helping bring Vanguard to you guys, and hopefully you guys will all be excited to see it when it finally rolls around to the internet.

TL;DR Vanguard is the best, let's all take a moment to appreciate it. In fact, let's create a national holiday where we just take a day to thank Galvanitro for giving Vanguard to us. Like, end of November.

 

How about early November, to balance out the pain of Election Day?  

 

I'm going to follow up with optimegatron and share my own reasons for enjoying being a part of this project. Though really I don't think I can top his national holiday.  

I really admired Galvanitro's ambitious plans when it came to wanting to make his own Transformers show. We have fanfictions, fan art, and fan comics, but a fan show isn't something you see very often. Most people probably don't realize how many hours go into Vanguard each day. I find it exciting to get updates and see the progress Galvanitro has made. He really wants to bring his best work forward for this. I really don't think there has been a fan project of this scale before in this fandom.

Galvanitro really wants input from fans for Vanguard. I find that really refreshing in an artist to even consider listening to other people's ideas for his creation. A lot of people feel protective over their work, I know I can feel that way about the stories I've written, but he really wants this to be enjoyable for everyone – something that can be a daunting task. Really in his own way, he's letting everyone be a part of Vanguard.

Vanguard has also given me an opportunity to become friends with a great group of guys. Through this friendship, we have been able to share some ideas and thoughts and in each person's way help contribute to Vanguard. It's really fun, an honor, and really an educational experience being part of Vanguard. There are so many things that I look forward to you all getting to learn about. I can't wait, as I'm sure a lot of you can't, to see the finished product!

Thanks to Optimegatron & Challenger for making such awesome statements to everyone. They are very great members of the team. Maybe someday the other two members will make their appearance, I'll see if I can crowbar them in, haha.
