Newington Walmart and target has nothing for movie stuff

 

Got the Swerve and Cosmos at the Manchester Target.
the Wal mart in southington has an @$$ ton of legends prime and bumblee.

 

Seems to be that pretty much all Wal-Mart and Target stores either have nothing, or very little AoE stuff out. I saw a planner sign up in the toy isle today in both stores, but nothing had been put out yet, with the exception of Wal-Mart in Newington having some of the gimmick action "Super Punch" figures (two BB and two Hound), along with one each of the Voyager Optimus and Grimlock.

TRU in Newington has pretty much everything all the other TRU's seem to have, a full section for AoE stuff with everything from Construct-Bots, to Deluxes, Voyagers, Quick Change, "Gimmick Action" figures and other all the other usual stuff. No wave 2 deluxes or exclusives though, sadly.

 

At my stores in Torrington, only Kmart had anything out. Walmart and Target had nothing this morning.

 

Found one Generations Swerve at Meriden Target. Nothing else new there.

Waterbury TRU is pretty much fully stocked up on AOE (though this from a second-party, I have not gone there since last week) I intend to snag a Voyager Grimlock from there at some point today.

 

Windsor Target has Generations Legends Swerve & Flanker, Generations Legends Cosmos & Payload, Generations Deluxe Mini-Con Assault Team and Generations Voyager Rhinox.

 

Avon Walmart has AoE wave 1 deluxes for $15(!!!!!), wave 1 flip and changers ($9) and spark rollers ($12??). Two leader class OP and one Grimmy $23(??). Constructobots (WJ, Megs, SoundwVe) for 13, Ironhide, SS and TC for $7 and Bumblebee and Blitzwing for $21. Also there was a slew of the OP and BB scout class figures for $9. TFPBH figures (scouts and one deluxe SS) were also around but packaging was destroyed on most.

Can't believe the deluxes price jumped again! That's the third jump since 2009.

 

Bethel Target only had one Generations Swerve. The sales clerk checked their inventory with no luck. Still looking for that green spaceship!!!!

Just for confirmation- Waterbury TRU has AOE leaders, voyagers and deluxes of Wave 1 (but no scorns). One steps, drop and changes, fast-action guys, etc are all there too. The display is a little all over the place, with the titans, generations, and all the sub-lines mixed together.

Waterbury Target has the one-step Grimlock, OP and Drift, I believe- that's it.

 

New Britain Target had Cosmos x 3 and at least 3 Swerves (maybe 4?).
I didn't see any MP Grimmys at West Hartford TRU. Although, I think I'm sitting this hunt out since I have the first Takara and TRU versions.

 

Torrington Target is now fully stocked with Wave 1.

NOOOOOO!!! I've been working 70 hours this week and finally have time to check the sightings thread and Cosmos is showing up and I miss him. Damn

As for Masterpiece Grimlock, One of my biggest regrets as a TF collector was not picking up the TRU one released years ago. I finally bit the bullet and bought the Takara reissue only the find out he will have a 60 dollar TRU release.....life sucks!

 

You could always sell the Takara one, though it's probably a better figure. I'd wager you could make $60+ for him on eBay easily.

sell who for sixty and why. I spent 200 on the takara reissue and he is being displayed. And as for ebay I dont even have the time to put up hexatron and instead just took a 50 dollar loss to help a almighty out. I Might buy one to display in dino but space is limited.

 

I just remembered, yesterday, I saw a BH deluxe Dreadwing at Bristol TJ Maxx ($9.99). I don't think I've seen that guy in a while, although, maybe I haven't paid BH much attention, lately.

Grabbed the very last Cosmos from New Britain Target. Guess this a tough wave.

Bristol Target has EVERYTHING AOE, as does NB Target.

Waterbury Walmart has most AOE stuff, and has placed the Gen Voyagers on clearance for the OUTSTANDING 23.75! That's right! Act now and save a QUARTER!!!
