We'll see how he's used because I dislike how Decepticons are blown up to bits within milliseconds.

 

Are those vehicons or an actual Decepticons?

 

Some of us think it is Cyclonus. But in all likelihood, he / they may just be the vehicon flyers. We have the trax as ground, these /he may just be some nondescript helicopter.

 

But wait... big thought... Felt like a lightbulb moment. What do we have in the movies, that flies, that the humans have captured HEAPS of after the Chicago battle and that they would surely study and use.

What if this guy is a human-made transforming retrofit of one of the Drone ships? Those big engines in the shoulder could be seen to match, and the colour scheme.

 

Uh, the engines look nothing like the thrusters on the ships, or the guns. And they're way too small.

 

yeah.. i know the new robots are losing a lot of their vehicle mode parts in robot mode.. i agree, this robot looks absolutely nothing like those ships.

i hope we get a figure of it.. i just REALLY hope we get figures for all of the robots that are going to be in this movie.

i'm sure we won't though.. especially considering we've already seen the list of toys for this line.

 

just gonna go on a limb here and say that this might be the robot mode for those Chinese E Jet vehicles, since these are human made TF's there's most likely gonna be plenty of these bots

 

I asked Josh about it, he said that the design is altered a bit from the old concept, but still based on it

 

It certainly looks to be a similar design, but I can't say anything for sure till the film releases.

The E-Jets are compact cars, this guy is huge and bulky. Even the most streamlined of the new designs have panels on their body that resemble the bodywork of their altmode. The large, thick, rounded plating that makes up most of this guy does not look like an E-Jet in the slightest.
