I made this theory back at the end of November, BUT, the theory never seemed to get much ground purely because it didn't seem plausible according to you guys. But now that we've seen the trailers and such I think that this Theory could come to fruition after all the footage we've seen.
While anything is possible, it doesn't explain what Crosshairs, Cade, Tessa and Shane are doing there. None were present during the Chicago battle. Honestly? I think killing off everyone from the previous trilogy (save for a few), would be going beyond overboard.
Don't remind me. Someone did a Ghost Buster's Slimer/Sam Witwicky crossover. That's all I feel comfortable saying. I'm off to locate the author and get him the help he needs. Wish me luck.
It's just like G1! Where they kill everybody from the show and get a new cast! It's happening all over again!
People are coming up with all kinds of convoluted and contrived reasons for the absence of the original human cast. But it's as simple as this: The Autobots have been in hiding, possibly for the whole four years. By this point they've lost all contact with those humans. Ergo, it's no longer those humans' story. As for Bumblebee's look changing, the irony is that his new appearance is technically more human given that he seems to acquire it from Stinger or his makers one way or another.
Theory: a coherent group of tested general propositions, commonly regarded as correct, that can be used as principles of explanation and prediction for a class of phenomena: Einstein's theory of relativity. Synonyms: principle, law, doctrine. Your idea isn't a theory
I'd assume if the Autobots knew they were putting the human friends in danger, that would be reason enough to not be around them.
I would of liked to think that it is much more likely that they were arrested and interrogated. Besides, why wouldn't they want information from the people that were closest to them? That doesn't change the fact that the government knew who was close to the Transformers. So unless they went into hiding too it wouldn't be logical to assume that the Government hasn't taken notice to the previous cast.
Id say that Sam and others simply went underground once the humans started hunting the autobots. Speaking of pillars in the sky what happened to themand the decepticons operating them round the world? are we to believe the pillars vanished , the robots too?!? or none of above or what??? Confusing thoughts
Easiest way to get this sort of thing out is to have the Ratchet scene - then have the Autobots go into hiding during a montage, They contact Seymour Simmons (who would reprise his role for a cameo) and they convince him to use his money to help move Carly and Sam into hiding on a remote island paradise in Hawaii with their families - with mentions of the non-returning Autobot cast being sent to protect them (Such as Sideswipe) We see a short clip of Bumblebee looking sad, a firefight between the Wreckers and a military group, then we see a heavily damaged Optimus ordering a retreat as they flee -Cut to opening titles- Open to the Yaeger farm.
Nah its not going to be this way. This seems more likely (and simply): The reason they arent connected anymore is because of the severity of the situation. The Autobots were being killed by the military so they all went into hiding suddenly. Sam and the rest might have been questioned by the government but they truely dont know where the Autobots are. The government is ruthless and finds Autobots despite their best efforts to hide (Decepticons too). Then Ratchet is killed, like Sideswipe and the Wreckers before him. The Hawaii thing sounds way too childish btw. Plus Hawaii is still part of America so that wouldnt work. Its just a far fetched idea.
