Megazarak is tempting. If they ever do a Fort Max, I'm all the way in.

What impresses me about the Convoy pen is how posable it is. It looks like a really strong Convoy figure aside from anything else it does. It must use a really tiny ink cartridge, though. And I wonder what you do for refills.

Actually, I have a feeling I like how it looks in primer gray more than I will the finished color product.

I've been corresponding with Sentinel about this very issue today, and while I couldn't get them to confirm a price, I did confirm that this is a Japanese exclusive (which I was already pretty sure it was going to be).

Sentinel said that their license agreement with Takara Tomy only allows them to sale their items to distributors in Japan (what those distributors do with them is a different matter--hello, gray market).

The official price of these pens will be announced on their homepage.

Oh, Optimus goes on sale this September

Nope, but I suspect that Sentinel will announce more when this item gets closer to its sales date.

Very pricey but want one of these so bad.

 

I'm not sure which to get. I like black more, but Optimus as a character would be great to have as a pen.

 

Seeing how some of you want a Rung and Alpha Trion, I asked Sentinel about it--I also gave them information about this site and a link to this thread for them to see for themselves.

What's their contact info? I would be very interested in a G1 Megatron bot mode that also transforms into a pen and would be in scale with Optimus Pen. Would make for some epic desk battles
