So I really want to love this guy but those proportions though...

So I've been mistransforming it and not elongating the torso in dino mode it does make it so the tail can't attach without any modifications to it. My only course of action I see at the moment is to cut off that tab on the shield tail piece but then I can't attach it in robot mode.

Anyone might be able to give me some feed back on this? Do you prefer the mistransformation or does it not make much of a difference?

Playing around with him a lot I've found that mistransforming doesn't really give you much. I'm actually working on a tail extension myself, I honestly can't think of much else besides that, unfortunately.

 

There is no fixing that ugly ass Dino mode.

 

I just got him, and the first thing I did was try your method. I like it, but I don't want to cut the tab off his shield. Thinking of a solution, maybe cut a slot in the sliding chest piece for the tab to fit.

 

Until I don't see his bot mode in the movie I really don't want to go this route, but if it makes him more screen accurate by doing that consider it done.
