This is my custom made cabinet for all the MASTERPIECE toys that I have collected since late 2010.

Collecting toys can be fun and satisfying but when you improve on the figures by giving them better articulation it brings satisfaction to a whole new level.

Therefore, for some figures that suffer from lack of articulation, I did some modifications (still in the learning process) to the hands, elbow, wrist, leg, neck…etc so that the figure comes to ‘life’ on the shelf.

So here goes…

That is a nice and clean display. Don't know if I would have modified the mp but they came out good.

Well so far I only gave sideswipe and blustreak a hand job (haha I had to!), put a ball jointed wrist on LC Starscream and gave LC Megatron's right arm an elbow. Now waiting for a pair of articulated hands (for LC Ironhide) to arrive and I am good to go for some serious mod !

Those are 1/100 mechanical hands by Hobby Base....I got it off from HLJ many moons ago. Seems 3P is coming out with fully articulated fingers. I will definitely get for prowl, red alert and smokescreen since i ran out of hands !!!

loving the white and subtle illumination, not too overpowering. very professional and inspiring display.

was this something pre-existing in your place and did you have to do any work to the display?

and as time progresses, and the collection continues to grow…. i can imagine, tough decisions will be made for space

Thanks for the compliment...I recently moved in to a new place and therefore had the opportunity to have it custom made with built-in LEDs and most importantly a glass cover!!

DUST is TF greatest enemy !!

...and you are right I am already facing space problem....and sooner or later Iron Man gotta make way....
