Terrible. Way too much kibble in alt mode and way too fat. Plus pens in the cartoon are always round - not square. Actually alt mode looks more like a totem pole than a pen. Stupid. I thought Hasui had fallen a long way with MP-22, but this is a new low. Worst MP yet, but I'm going to preorder two anyway. Just to spite myself.
I know right? And hear this is going to write in black ink rather than the blue ink that Pentimus is supposed to have. I mean, how could they not even get that right? So much fail.
Reminds me a lot of Revoltech Optimus Prime. Also, I think the only actual PEN part is in the Gun Barrel. I can see myself getting one if the price is right.

They're a Japanese high-end toy company. They seem to put out figures and die-cast robots in the ~$100-$200 range. So, this will be a licensed product.
Um, I dont mean to sound ungreatful... But is this what we realy want the Takara designers to produce for us? Instead of a Voyager Lockdown.... Or non flat shell forming Galvatron... This is what they spend time and money designing? Thank goodness for 3rd Parties... TFs have gone to $HiT...
This is not made by Taktomy. It's a fully licenced product by Sentinel of Japan. So don't jump to conclusion by saying nonsense like TFs have gone to $HIT.
