I don't know if this thread will be usefull or not, but I noticed something I don't know if anyone else did.

Look at this screenshot:



We know it's Lockdown jumping in the Damen Silo in Chicago. Now if you look at this pic of Optimus and Lockdown's battle you'll se that the columns Optimus is thrown is the same one's of the silo:



This could mean Lockdown jumped from his Nightship to fight Optimus or, as the next shot suggests, to take Marky Mark's wierd sword-gun, 'cause the same columns are in the background (and a Kicked-in-the-face Prime):



To me this could mean:

1) It's the final battle when Lockdown is killed by Optimus/Grimlock/Cade;
2) It's not the final battle, but it's when Lockdown dies. The final battle might be later against Galvatron (I don't think so);
3) It's not the final battle neither Lockdown's death. They may fight again later and Lockdown might not even die in this movie.

So, that's it.

 

It looks like he jumps down, throws Optimus, and tries to kill Marky Mark.

 

I just thought he was trying to take the sword-gun-thingy off of Cade because he was kind of shooting at him.

 

I noticed that aswell, everything seems like the same scene. It may be like the mid-battle like forest battle was in ROTF and Highway chase was in DOTM! It looks like Lockdown does find Optimus and Cade and is tryin to capture Cade while Optimus is still recovering.

 

Agreed. I don't think this is the scene where Lockdown dies; hell, I don't even believe he does die. I think the scene's in the second act.

 

If he wanted it he could've just took it but he's in fact trying to step on Mark.

No, and this scene being discussed is probably when lockdown takes Optimus prisoner

 

Lockdown transforms next to some grain silos. I think these could be silos for a liquid substance or sugar?

 

Prime is taken prisoner in the farm battle with Galvatron.

 

That first scene looks too much like the battle between The Fallen and Optimus.

 

Yeah, I agree that this is going to be the beginning of the second act of the film. I also don't believe that Lockdown will be killed... I think that the writers have a long story arc for him planned.

 

It does, it really does.

 

Seeing how awesome Lockdown is I hope he doesn't die, and I don't think all of the named Decepticons and/or bad transformers will get killed in this movie. I think a few will survive to play a role in the rest of the trilogy. Personally, I hope Lockdown escapes or gets imprisoned in his own ship.

 

Lockdown vs Optimus is sort of like Jazz beating up Megatron which never happened in tf1.

 

That doesn't make any sense to me.

 

I must respectfully disagree, to me it seems like Lockdown is the main problem and Galvatron is just a secondary concern.

 

I'de say Galvatron will become the concern in the next installments, if he gains his own 'conscience' near to the end of the movie!?
