It really shows how the manufacturers only had the early colour renders to base there work off. All the pieces of primes chest are in different places to his current version, the shoulder armor sticks out to the front instead of out to the sides. If a manufacturer is making an item of this scale and price why wouldnt they wait until the design has been finalised? To inacurate to purchase even if I could afford it.

They're clearly based on older concept art like most of the packaging/promo art and other merchandise.

At 13,000 I could never afford. Even if it was free, the shipping alone will make me take out a second mortgage on my house

    13k for a non-screen accurate, non-life sized statue? I don't think so

These are a little over 9.5 feet tall for people that hate the metric system like me.

All other issues with these aside, I find it curious they made them both the same height. They would look dumb displayed next to each other.

Why would anyone buy these? If I had money to spend on stuff like these, I would go for Prime1 statues. They're perfect.

If they weren't quite so tall, I'd actually consider them. I'm putting together a statuary in my house, and a couple of Transformers would be quite nice. However, at 9.5 - 10ft high (including the base), these would have to live outside, which I'd not be too keen on.

I think it's unlikely that many of these will sell to private collectors, purely for that reason. The ceilings in my house are 8.8ft high, which is significantly higher than average (for the UK, anyway) - I think these are going to become museum / showroom pieces.

Prime looks half decent. Not sure what happened with bumblebee's mouth. Too big. Too expensive. Meh.

I know. It's like those 10,000 dollar purses celebrities buy. Some things in this world are made just so the rich could blow money on them.
