Is it just me, or does anyone else wish that Soundwave would have executed Bee at the end of DOTM. Yes, I know that it would never have happened because the little kids would have gotten upset and Hasbro would have lost their main marketing character.

But I think that it would have added another level of emotion to the film - making the Autobot victory much more heroic; yet showing the sacrifice that war takes. That would also explain the absence of Sam in AOE. Sam's tie to the Autobots would have been severed.

Any other thoughts? Disagreements?

 

Bumblebee just needed to get away from that abusive relationship. Yes, it would have been more dramatic but it never happened and I'm really digging his new design.

 

Yeah don't get me wrong, I love the new design. I just think that newer characters should have a chance to be in the spotlight.

 

No, I don't think Bee should have died. He's suppose to be the youngest of the Bots and the easiest for humans to relate to. I do wish he wasn't as focused upon as he currently is. I would love to have some of that spotlight taken from him and put on the other Bots. I would love for the focus to be equally given to ALL the Bots (and Cons). It would promote a hell of alot better character development for the Bots (and Cons), then we've had in all these Bayvers movies thus far. I do also wish that they hadn't killed off all the freaking Cons like Soundwave and Starscream.

I'm most excited about Drift. He has the most unique look of any of the characters in the movies so far IMO. I don't care that he is probably only in the movie because of the heavy Eastern market - HE JUST LOOKS BADASS.

But that is one reason I wanted Bee taken out. I have a terrible feeling that Bee will steal the spotlight away from characters that I think are way more interesting. (Drift)

 

you know what.. i would've LOVED to have seen bumblebee die.. you're right it would've given the movie a ALOT more emotion..

then.. for AOE they could've brought in a young hot rod.. now that would've been a dream come true.. i think hasbro needs to lose bumblebee and replace him with a young, TALKING hot rod.

Bumblebee has a much needed design change, it was about time to get away from the original Camaro chest look and something a bit more different. I am so sick of seeing the same toy over and over again. I still and only have the '07 deluxe Bumblebee

I like bee but him dying would be awese...seriously!!
he should be replaced by some other character like Rodimus....Rodimus I yet to appear in the movie

 

I'm also thinking that it was the same for Carly, I'm guessing she got arrested too, along with Lenox and Epps.
