We know there is something up with the Lost Light, Drift said something about how the ship had bad energy or a bad history or something back in issue 3 (don't have the issue in front of me), which is kind of wierd because Drift bought the ship for Rodimus, and Nightbeat asked about it at the end of Dark Cybertron.

Also just the name...Lost Light? So many directions you could with that, from light being sucked into a black hole to being directionless, or lost hope. There's no way Roberts just doodled that up one day and said "Meh, sure, that sounds like a good name for a ship". I'm pretty sure it's deliberate.

You know what, it doesn't read like him, it's probably not, but I thought it would be hilarious if it was *Megatron* who sent that message...

    I liked this issue.

We are not getting Megatron's POV, but we are seeing many circumstances where Megatron is leading. I find he's too big to bet he POV character so this is a great approach.

The art, expressions, and lay out were very endearing and the story telling was great. This is what a comic book should be.

The only thing I didn't like was the Trailbreaker "fix". Such addictions are not so easily swatted away in the real world and there was an opportunity there to show his struggle.

I think, as with everything else, there's a lot more going on with Tailgate's "finger-in-the-head!" than just innocent fun. Something about how he's doing it to Skids seems a little more "off" than when he was doing it to Cyclonus.

    Oh wow.

This issue was insane. I haven't read the full thread here yet, but I'm loving Megatron's portrayal so far.

Starscream's speech was the greatest part this time, and the way it kept cutting back to Megatron during the insults was brilliant. As captain, he's clearly competent, and I appreciate the way he handled Trailcutter, even if I don't think it's done yet.

    Spoiler time.
A bit obvious, but I think Rewind's "data ghost" and things disappearing are connected. With how Nightbeat described Rewind as basically an embodiment of data, I think something stole that "data ghost." It's taken a room's walls, a door, Pyrobots, Engex, and various lettering, that I can remember. Could it be that something is trying to communicate with the Lost Light, by taking things to arrange a meeting on its own terms?

I'm also a fan of that theory mentioned earlier about
Rodimus body-swapping with Riptide. He seems to know T.C.'s particular problem pretty darn well for only associating with him recently, and knew just how to push his buttons to do something that would annoy Megatron, and possibly incite his wrath against an Autobot.

Hmmmm, could Tailgate be turning into a little bit of a bully? He's taken down a big boy and gotten an attitude about it? Might Cyclonus have to take him down a notch or two

Certainly seems a lot bolder doesn't he? I could kind of see him playing around with Cyclonus based on their friendship (although I have no idea why Cyclonus didn't backhand the little fella into next week), but Skids? Tailgate did not ever seem to be particularly close to him, and incidentally, he should probably know better than to jump up behind any bot with 4 million years worth of PTSD.

Assuming you're talking about the Sound of Breaking Glass, specifically Drift says that Rodimus needs to be in charge or they will fail in their mission (and finding the Knights was tantamount to defeating the next big bad). Somebody said something about the future changing because of Shockwave? I like this theory and things going 'wrong' in the present because of it.

Another foretelling was Megatron removing his weapon from his arm (that panel of him holding the cannon to melt was very memorable). He has removed it, though not in the circumstances described in Towards Peace. This could be significant or it could be another thing for Tarn to get upset about.

I never thought I'd enjoy this version of Megatron, but I really do thus far.

To me, he has always been a ruthless warrior, fighting for what he truly believes is the greater good. He is twisted, but in his mind, he is doing what must be done for the greater good.

Thinking of him this way, makes the current transition believable and logical. The exchange with Whirl was amazing.

I miss Rodimus, but know he will be back. I love all of these characters. Usually, I have 2 or 3 favs of a superhero team and the rest become filler. With MTMTE, I love them all!

Yup, that's the plot point I was referring to. The timeline alterations looks to be a plot point since, in the Windblade mini series, Ironhide is trying his best to cope with the fact that his vision of a perfect future has been canceled out but current events.

For all those saying that there's probably something more to Tailgate's "finger in the head thing"... There's probably not. It's just a cute little thing he's doing as a reference to how he beat Tyrest. Cyclonus and Skids are his friends so they're not gonna make a big deal about it or anything. He's not becoming a bully, it's not something sinister, it's just a joke.

Plus if you look later on, Skids is carrying him piggy-back. To me, he's just acting like a kid who did something big and wants to have fun reliving it.

That's what Roberts' writing does to you.

You scrutinise every line and action. Wondering if it's just a throw away or is the key to unlocking the secrets of the universe.

Next thing you know you're locked in a basement where every wall is covered in comic clippings, charts and graphs, all leading to a photo of Roberts' stupidly charming face...

You mean there's people out there who aren't? *looks at walls*

For the people complaining about how Trailcutter was dealt with, you have to realize Megatron DIDN'T suddenly make him sober. For a real-world example, all Megatron just did was break every bottle of alcohol in front of him. Trailcutter STILL has to deal with the psychological aspect of his addiction, and his cravings, which is probably why Megatron made him the director of security. That gives him something else to put his mind on, and he probably hopes it will distract him from his cravings.

I was thrilled when I saw him (had him when I was a kid:D ).

I am really liking the additions to the crew. Has anyone noticed if any others left the crew besides Cosmos? I was actually kinda hoping Powerglide would revolve into center stage for at least a couple of issues. With Roberts ability to amplify personalities, his would be a real treat.
