I said this in the other thread too. Now that we know (as I said) that this is trailer 2, trailer 3 was classified so it will be out soon. Again, when I made mention that we would get 2 trailers in quick succession.

Also, here's a screen shot of Strafe's face, even though we have seen them before.

 

The question now is when... I'm thinking they'll get a variant of the trailer with the clip shown around the 21st?

 

The leader class figure clearly shows that the shield is also a gun. But anyway, this screen shot has just become the new background on my laptop.

 

Either the Dinobots aren't gonna do anything in this film, or for once these trailers aren't giving a ton away. I mean yeah, they give away some moments, but a lot of those moments (i.e Lockdown's "Walk" will be badass on screen even after seeing it 100 times in the trailers) are still going to be cool. We haven't seen much from Galvatron (if he actually does anything) or seen any of the other Dinobots besides Grimlock, who has not yet transformed, and Strafe who really hasn't done much. Compared to the last few movie's trailers, this one really focused in on keeping the mystery and not revealing too much IMO.

Of course we could be hit with a whole bunch of disappointment like no transforming Dinobots and galvatron just being a drone or lifeless, but I'll keep my hopes up.

 

I can't tell if thats Stinger or a red Trax.

 

Like I said, I think this one will be with Zilla, and trailer 3 with xmen.

Also, as I have pointed out a page back, those other weapons are on the wall behind Cade  

 

Took me a few watches before I noticed Grimlock stabbing the con with his tail, and chucking him aside with his Jaws! Nice!

Well now we know Ratchet's death is after Prime gets his new mode.

 

It's a Red Trax. Since they are supposedly Vehicons, there will be many of them.

I still think Stinger is a single robot/car. The one where Bee transforms in the other spots is the only one IMHO. It's the prototype and will either turn against everyone and become a Con or it's just programmed to kill other non man-made transformers.

 

So he gets that weapon on the ship?

That must mean that the "Lockdown Factory Battle" is after OP is captured. Which by the way, looks like it's going to be an awesome battle.

 

Is Lockdown as big as Optimus. He seems to be kicking OP's ass pretty hard. How is that possible, He is just a Lambo.

If I'm mistaken then sorry. I saw the red and the head sculpt and it looked like Stinger. I'm not the only one whose confused by this.

Their are black and yellow circular stickers on the legs of Galvatron and the legs standing up against the wall. I remember seeing them use some of those in the past for where CGI should be. Might be wrong - but they just seem to be CGI markers.

Me neither. A majority are saying its the red trax or a vehicon - but that's begs the question of why they had Stinger on display in the expo?

 

This begs the question of when the Galvatron Factory Battle occurs...

Indeed - and considering all the flying that Bumblebee and the main cast appear to be doing - I wouldn't be surprised if we have a battle in the sky. Bumblebee riding on Strafe in order to attack Lockdown's ship perhaps? :3

This is all I'm going to say:

There are two types of movies - movies that one goes to to get something out of it (Oscar Films), and movies that people go to for entertainment purposes.

Transformers are films that have, and will always be for pure summer entertainment. When composing the movie, the film crew is not overly concerned with story or small details that could harm continuity or be bothersome to someone in the film industry. They are just trying to make a piece of entertainment that audiences can have fun going to.

That begin said, I do believe that they are getting much better with the story and the CGI. At least half of those shots are not done - just as in previous trailers. I'm going to accept that this movie is a summer blockbuster meant as nothing else - and I think that it's time everyone else on this board accept that.

 

No need to apologize. We're all just speculating and having fun! Sometimes, our eyes like to play tricks on us or miss important things.

I'm believing that the 'bot in the shot with Prime talking to Cade is Crosshairs. It looks like his trench coat, to be honest. But, I agree. Filming areas would suggest Prime was there at the boat when Ratchet gets "killed", right? Wasn't he at the boat filming? Or, at least, his pole head?

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, Stinger is shooting at Strafe and Bumblebee in that shot where Bee raises his "eyebrows". Or, is that just another Vehicon?

I did. Wonder if it's the Transformer or just a human helicopter. I couldn't make out the details, but I did see it.  

 

You want Stinger? Screen cap 76. Strafe is picking Bee up and Stinger is standing on the building looking up at Bee. Stinger also looks to be holding a shield very much like the one bee had in his concept art on the clapper board. If someone would resize it, you'll see what I'm seeing.
