Hullo everybody, here's my latest There have been some awesome SG repaints on the boards lately, I thought I'd also take a crack at it, and add a Soundwave to my collection. So here's my take on the FOC figure, (I know that nemesisred's custom version is a tough act to follow, and there is no way in hell I could hope to match his awesome decal detailing, so I didn't even attempt it ) Pretty straightforward paint scheme, white gloss Krylon spray, tamiya silver, tamiya gunmetal and semi-gloss black, the blue is dupli-color perfect match in Bahama Blue. The chest window's original purple tint was stripped off on the inside with acetone, and repainted with tamiya clear blue. Here's some pics of him with his Soundwave repaint and Takara Soundblaster brothers, as well as with the E-hobby figure that inspired me (I just think it's such a sharp looking colour scheme). Alt mode pics will be added someday, he transforms fantastically with no chips or rubs, except ONE BIT I FORGOT TO SAND DOWN! It's the 2 little prongs on his back that clip to the crotch bit when you fold the waist back. So maddening, gotta go back and sand and repaint that bit, or else risk chipping his butt. Bah. I have no interest in owning a Shattered Glass Soundwave, and after getting Soundwave and Blaster, I have no need for any more of this mold. But I would totally buy this.

If I ever get a Linkin Park Soundwave, you know that I'll have to do a gold version of this as well. I'll bet THAT would be going way too far with this mold!
I would love to see that either inspired by the toy itself, or by the box it comes in (though that would be very close to Soundblaster). Have you considered a matching FOC Shattered Glass Blaster?
