If there is anybody that can help me get G1 Misfire's Targetmaster:

    Aimless
    [IMG]

I'll pay or trade for it or both. It's been one of those things that I just can't find EVER and I don't want to pay "wheeljackslab" prices for it.

Even if you have legs or even a repro one I'll take it. Seriously. My Misfire has gone too long without a weapon and can't live up to his namesake. ;)

This will be a huge help for me.

    Thank you.

Don't know if you've tried Transformerland.com but I've bought from him many times always with great results. If you watch some of his videos on Youtube you'll see the almost unimaginable inventory he has, a lot of which isn't even on the website. But, with the link below you can ask him for almost anything and he'll check.

I wanted an Aimless for a long time too and also couldn't understand the prices people were asking for him, so ended up getting him and Misfire from Transformerland a while ago.

Transformers Requests, Request Transformers Action Figures

Also if it helps, there was a company named Broken Arrow Toys that was making a good looking repro of Aimless named "TMaster Gun #1" for a while. If Transformerland doesn't work maybe you can search ebay or somewhere else for the TMaster Gun as well. That company doesn't seem to be working anymore but someone may have the repro to sell.

ZombieBalls, thanks for the TFL link. I requested Aimless. I searched around the Broken Arrow Toys (awesome find btw thanks) site and couldn't find "TMaster Gun #1" anywhere.

But then I ran into this forum and found this quote:
I had to LOL at that last sentence. Oh well, wish me luck with Transformerland!

Retrospex, sorry I should have caveated Broken Arrow a bit better. I was looking for Aimless for a very long time (without having Misfire) and the few times he did show up on ebay, it was either half of him, broken, discolored, way too expensive or all of the above. I don't remember what made me think of a repro but then eventually found the "TMaster Gun #1" on Broken Arrow. When it was visible on the site, it was a dead ringer and cheap too ($10 maybe?) but it was never in stock and there were always messages that they were behind in their overall production (with no schedule) and "in stock" didn't mean what you'd think and that sort of thing. At a certain point after many months, it was obvious Broken Arrow was never getting that figure back and it always looked as if the entire business itself was suffering. And now when I pull up the old bookmark for the figure it just goes to a message page that you probably saw. It's a shame because they had a lot of good looking parts.

My thought for you, was maybe with the name "TMaster Gun #1" you'd get lucky and catch someone selling one they already owned on ebay or somewhere else, assuming they were ever able to sell one in the first place.

As for Transformerland, I have bought from them for a few years and the owner Matt is very good with requests and follow ups. Sometimes if you don't hear back from him in a few days, you have to send him an email reminder since the site isn't his "real" job and he gets busy. I ended up getting Aimless and Misfire from him a while back and they were both not only flawless but not even on the site's inventory. Somewhere I saw he only has about 10% of his actual inventory listed online and this seems to be absolutely true if you ever see his "secret stash" youtube video among others. I also think his prices are great. I still kick myself for some figures that I waited too long on and should have known better they were going to move quick at the prices he was asking. Hope he can get you one.

ZombieBalls, googling and searching "TMaster Gun #1" on eBay is a great idea. I have alerts set up until Transformerland gets back to me.

Upon googling, I did find Transrepo.com but after scanning briefly through the site, looks like it's been abandoned. It shows the last update was from 2010. I actually remember this site / KCC vaguely from my years of collecting but it seems they're done making parts.

I am hoping TFL gets back to me, this search continues...

Yeah, googling and searching ebay for months on end didn't net it for me, but hopefully it works for you if Transformerland comes up empty. If you don't hear back in a few days regarding your request, you can email him specifically for it at: [email protected] which has worked for me even for general inquiries.

Since Transrepo didn't pan out maybe you could ask the guys in Radicons who make their own parts on places like Shapeways. While it may not be worth it to commission someone to make you one, someone in Radicons could know of someone else who has made them. The link below is the master list but you have to go through all four pages to get all the stores' names/links.

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/creative-general-discussion/432018-master-shapeways-store-list.html

I was also searching for "aimless" and "tmaster gun" on the various lower traffic sale/auction sites like ecrater, etsy and bonanza hoping to get lucky when I was looking. I guess the problem with guys like the target masters is with the exception of fans, they're probably not as obvious a named character toy that anyone might recognize as a specific Transformer when they do find one and put it up for sale. Having no factions on them probably doesn't help the ID'ing either. Maybe they think they're just generic robot toys. Also, there's been times my searches for things came up empty only to find there was a seller listing what I wanted but with a simple misspelling (ie: "boston" when a seller meant Botcon while looking for an already popularly named figure like Ultra Magnus). Sometimes they've been just too generically listed to find at all like a G1 Jetfire only listed as "white space jet" and nothing else. Maybe there's someone selling a "blue gray folding robot toy" on ebay. I assume you've tried the Junkion Exchange here?

I am friends with the owner of broken arrow. He stopped making transformer parts for a while as demand was lower and someone named darkov started doing it and he didn't feel like competing. Darkov quit so he will start making transformer parts again after joecon. I will make sure he makes some targetmasters again.

Thanks for the info. If I remember Broken Arrow also had TF heads and Joe accessories, all things I know I'd sure like to see again. Hope he can start it up and let us all know after Joecon.

Still no luck. Transformerland / Matt didn't have one. He is a nice guy and said he'd hold one for me when one turns up so there's a huge help. Saw one on ebay with legs but the one of the tabs were broken and I just can't shell out $50 for a broken one.

    The search continues...
